People love to miss this a lot about stars in team sports. Sometimes you get a bad bounce. Sometimes you put your team in the position to win and one of your teammates screws up. Fans and media personalities can be so results based, but the reality is, you can do everything right in terms of the process and still not win it all.

That game was right there for them. After a Stroud scramble for 27 yards got OSU to the 31 with 28 seconds left, they went run for -1, incomplete, incomplete, missed 50 yard FG by a kicker who had been so solid for the Buckeyes.

Could be true, I haven't seen the tape on either but I do know that Stetson and Hooker might be 26-27 when they play their first NFL regular season game. Not sure how much upside there is with those guys.

Stroud seems pretty athletic to me.

Yep but Stroud ran a 4.5 40, which is impressive!

Didnt know he was a 4.4 guy . In the Georgia game he moved similar to Mahomes. That’s a great thing imo

He’s not a 4.4 guy, those are literally AR test numbers

If I had to guess I would say 4.7. Mahomes ran 4.8 and looks like they have same type of speed.

    Stroud is a 4.75-4.9 guy.
Mahomes has a lot more agility and wiggle, top end speed is probably similar

If you guys want Mahomes, you have the wrong guy.
The best comp for Stroud is Matt Ryan under Shanahan offense. You take that all day

If I see Davis Mills trotting out there week 1, I'm going spend the little money I put aside to attend a few games.. I'd rather gas up and go see them Longhorns .. Stroud should be the day 1 starter since they have a decent looking opening day roster.. He's in a good situation to learn on the fly while being competitive..

Cmoak sure is passionate, but he likes to fudge numbers. First he was a 4.7-4.8 guy and now he’s a 4.75-4.9 guy. By the time the season starts he’ll be as slow as Matt Schaub!

I’ve already seen this before but wanted to share with the others. This is why he will be great. Listen to his Elite 11 to Ohio St story.

Major edge and does not give up.

he has the goods you see in phenoms.

Very much the late riser who has been getting better and better each year.
