The same team that traded multiple picks to get him.
You can not like Levis, it’s pretty obvious why for some on this board.
But the kid has elite physical traits.
If he reaches his potential, that’s not good for the Texans

Dell and Xavier are going to do wonders for him along with Collins, woods, metchie, and schultz as far as receiving

I think he has a chance to do well, I’d still like a few more playmakers.
I still think putting those kind of expectations on him for o/u is too much.

Definitely want one of Bowers or Harrison Jr next year, as a way to early projection.

Would be a best case scenario with either.

I'm not sure you know what "average" means.

He is not going to be a scrambling QB, no doubt. Maybe you overrate how many of those are in the NFL currently that are starters?

It's hard to respond with any proof that you're wrong without defining what you mean by "athlete."

40 time? He's above average in the NFL.
    Arm strength? Above average.

I am not pretending he's a rushing QB.

He’s not above average in the 40, he’s around exactly average around 4.75/4.8.
He lacks agility and burst is more the issue.
    Arm is legit

But the number of starting QBs more athletic than Stroud is long.
Lamar, Fields, Hurts, Kyler, Russ, Herbert, Jones, Mahomes, Allen, Bryce, AR, Geno, Rodgers, Carr, Tannehill, Ridder, Howell, Pickett, Deshaun, Burrow, Dak

CJ is around Mac Jones/Cousins/Stafford/Tua/Mills level athlete.
Nothing wrong with it and would be considered mobile 30 years ago.
His game is going to depend on how quick he makes his decisions and gets the ball out with his ball placement and accuracy.
    Those are his strengths.
He will surprise some guys with his feet similar to Mills, but it’s not a staple to their games.

I think this sums up what Stroud will look like in this system. You take that all day.
Not a rusher but functional movement

I don't think that you've said a single unique thing in the past 9 months.

Not comparing him to mahomes at all but mahomes isn’t the best athlete either but can move if the athleticism is similar to that I’m good with it as a runner

Baffles me that anyone still thinks rushing/scrambling/athleticism is vital at the quarterback position after regularly seeing 40ish-year old men who were never world-beating athletes be very effective in the league. It's a passer's game at the pro level, always has been, always will be. This isn't college football.

Levis tape was worse than Stetson Bennet and Hooker.

I like Stroud better at #2 after knowing we got Anderson at #3. I consider them both 2.5 with the QB given the tie-breaker because of the QB position.

Without that, I'd probably would have preferred Anderson and hope for one of CJ, Hooker, AR or Levis to be there at 12.

I had actually game drafted getting two picks at 4 and 5 many times by moving down from 2 (2 to three and 3 to 4 for draft capital) and up from 12 using extra picks from moving down.

And you haven’t contributed anything but cantankerous, bitter old rhetoric about what’s being discussed. You’re an old get off my lawn jackass that has nothing better to do than b**** at kids riding their bikes near his lawn.

Take your godless ass on somewhere if you don’t like it.

I’m very aware of what every QB in the league (and many other sports) run.
Mahomes doesn’t have top end speed but he has elite change of direction, agility, burst and feet.
Like I said, that is where Stroud struggles

Y’all have to stop this. Mahomes is a much better athlete than Stroud.
