James is 33 and Khris is 31. It's looking suspiciously like the beginning of the "Superfriends" deal that I was concerned about. I'm not digging this part at all.
They gonna trade Green.. that's what bad organization do! ..dude in his second has so many scoring games .he just needs a pure pg to play with him to make things easy
hell no…no thanks Khris Middleton should be that blip on the radar that immediately gets shot down for flying into enemy territory only Khris I acknowledge is Chris Rock
Both are good/great players. Just depends what we have to give up. I agree with you, we can't overpay or mortgage the future, but if it's the right deal you have to pounce on it. Go Rockets!!! ....... ....... .......
Jake out here with dart throws stemming from the same exact article about Green Middleton ain't happening. No thanks anyway to begin with. clickbait article w/ shitty reporting
He was incredible in their championship run. I would welcome him but not for the max or anything close due to his decline the past two years.
I think it's important to take these rumors in unison with the interviews Stone and Ime gave yesterday, where they both gave a pretty clear picture of not wanting to jeopardize the future, and adding to the youth instead of uprooting them. Maybe we would sign Harden, maybe we would sign Middleton, maybe we would trade one of our young players for Brown, but this doesn't mean we'd do all of these things, perhaps we're only aiming to do 1 of them.
He’d be an upgrade at the 3 but those injuries man. Depends on how the draft and trades work out. Let’s say you get Wemby and trade for Trae Young or sign Harden/FVV now you need a SF.
I mean, if we win the lottery and get Wemby, we're probably championship contenders(with Harden and Khris like players) like Spurs were with Duncan. Still, is maybe 1(maybe 2) quick championships worth putting Wemby(entering his prime) in a spot where he has to be part of a rebuild after the win now players age out and we traded away all the young studs we drafted through the years before Wemby? No draft picks. No 2nd all star. Then Wemby leaves us to the Lakers. It's just a stupid short sighted move with or without Wemby. We put Hakeem through garbage and wasted his physical prime. I highly doubt Wemby is as honorable as Hakeem and stay and push through and win in his 30s like Hakeem. The era is too different. He'll be a Laker and win 4 more.
He is sort of the guy when you already have Giannis or Luka, Brunson, Booker, and seeking for the final piece.
I don’t understand this post. We tanked and got three high picks. How does signing FAs this off-season change that?
if you read the clickbait article it assumes trade packages that include those high picks. that's where that post comes from
Middleton can become a free agent and I wouldn't be opposed to signing him for the right price if we got the #1 pick and Harden to go with the rest of our group. If he is expecting to get a max deal then no thanks.
