and supreme downside. You get caught up too much in the physical stats, rather than important things…like actually being able to throw the ball ( and I’m saying this as someone who is not a Stroud fan)
There's no question that he's a moron, he bombed the Wonderlic test too, but that's not the end all, be all. I don't care if he's an idiot if he plays well. Ryan Fitzpatrick still has the best ever Wonderlic score for a QB.....it's not exactly a surefire test of QB skill.
Levis and AR can throw the ball. Metrics say Levis was better than Stroud in certain areas. And yes, I looked at physical traits in this class because there isn’t a for sure guy. So you take upside. Ar and Levis were the upside guys
For all the wet blankets… What am I missing? Stroud: 2021 - 12 games - 317 Comps on 441 attempts - 71.9% Comp - 4435 YDS - 44 TD, 6 INT 2022 - 13 games - 258 Comps on 389 attempts - 66.3% Comp - 3688 YDS - 41 TD, 6 INT What’s the problem? Some of y’all cats woulda been mad regardless of what they did. Starting to recognize who to hit that “ignore” button on…
Now look up Haskins stats his year as a starter, and any number of QBs that put up huge numbers and bombed in NFL. Stats with elite talent advantage doesn’t mean much
AR I am intrigued, I have to admit. But Levis will be a turd (happy to admit I’m wrong should hell freeze over ). You’re hanging your hat on the wrong rack.
"a player that our coaches spent a lot of time on" this is a damning he can't say anything negative about Stroud, so he just says they spent a lot of time looking at him
I guess Joe Burrow stats are useless too right? He had 2 bums named Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson he was throwing to
Yes, significantly worse. Marvin Harrison Jr, JSN, Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson. The Texans don't have a single receiver as good as any of those players. Facts.
