Considering he was drafted before a number of excellent offensive lineman, not to mention Kyle Hamilton, it was an awful, awful selection. He was baaaaad.
If the Titans trade up to 3, that might benefit the Texans. If they do and they take a QB, that means there's a chance QBs go top 4. Seattle may be in the market to trade down to 12. If they do, it would obviously cost less than trading to 3, but still result in the same player, Will Anderson.
I think Levis is closer to be ready. I also don't think there is much difference between the 2. I think Levis is more accurate right now and he can run too. However, Richardson had absolutely terrible receivers. They couldn't hold on to anything. Some of that may be because Richardson just fires everything. That guy gets some more touch he is going to be great. I guess what I am saying is I would be happy with either and I hope one of them is gone so the Texans just take one and don't have to make a decision which one to pick. I think they are both a coin flip.
Texans are the team that will give up the load of picks to move up 2 spots while anorher team gives up a future 7 and goes 19 slots up.
Caserio already has to answer for why he let the Panthers beat him out of trading up for the franchise QB. Not off to a great start. I’m not sure I’d loan him the keys to my car (metaphorically speaking about his draft track record).
The question I have with Hooker is not his skill it is he is starting at a lower level than guys who have been in a Pro Style offense. Can he adapt? (I think so) How long does it take him?
If this is true it’s unfortunate. Nothing wrong with disagreement and debate; that’s healthy. They better have a satisfactory process for resolving it and getting everyone on board with the final decision. No disfunction please!!!!!
Naw....letting the Panthers trade up wasn't really on him... had he got in there, he would've had to "lose twice". His problem started in 2022. But over, lets move on. He now needs to focus on how he could "right this ship". Getting a solid QB plus solid defender could go a long way in getting there.
I'm hoping all my fellow fans are enjoying or about to enjoy wings or pizza maybe some beer- interesting draft for sure - I haven't been this hyped for a NFL draft in a long time and I can't believe it's today !

These reporters have no clue. 1) The Texans are a vault! We can't get any info! 2) Also, the Texans are leaking so much that we know about division on this pick between basically everyone in the org! They say that crap so that whatever pick gets made they have a built in explanation. Fans on this board have already done it. If they draft a QB "Oh that was Cal interfering!" Give me a break.
Also, again, draft position is irrelevant. If you think Hendon Hooker is a franchise QB and you pass on him at 12 you are an idiot.
