I think a lot of people are too hard on ol' Tilly sometimes, but there were definitely a couple of cringeworthy moments in that. The whole "be a good Christian" angle came out of nowhere. You know Abdelfattah was probably like "....". And the when he refers to the job Stone and his staff have done as "not perfect, but really damn good", I mean come on. Then saying things like if there were people that were probably unknowns that have come into their own in the last few years that they would've taken had they had higher picks. I'm thinking the current draftees aren't overly excited to hear things like that, if I understand his statement correctly. I did a few double-takes during that press conference.

That being said, Fertitta should probably stay away from mics. lol.

Yeah noticed this too. He said a couple of times that Stone is not perfect (he can just say stone had done a great job, without saying he is not perfect more than once).

 

That word "alpha" was taken from wolves. Alpha wolves don't behave like jackholes. That's because alpha wolves have an alpha female partner and anything considered a "beta" in the wolfpack is his and her offspring. I'm not sure this alpha and beta thing you mention is a real thing. Alpha wolves are caretakers of their family.

Ime Udoka is a badass and badasses don't care about internet alphas. Use a different word for our coach. This leader you're following by using his language (knowingly or unknowingly) is under house arrest for being an alpha who coerced victims into social media p*rn, is suspected of human trafficking, forming an organized crime syndicate and really he's just a giant douche. And yes, I'd say it to his face. Andrew Tate is a lowlife. No need to act like him in your own life or on our shared life here.

 

The same applies to Kevin Porter Jr.

Smith and Green were 2 of the worst players on the team overall last season, KPJ was one of the best.

Btw I'm as big a KPJ critic as anyone but him being in Houston working out already and the only player at the press really says a lot
