    Anyone heard anything
I am one of the few folx that liked The Hulk
movie. . . it was all about setup

I think so far the Sequels for Marvel are better
than the originals [3 of 2]

    Blade > Blade 2
    X-men 2 > X-men
    Spiderman 2 > Spiderman
Daredevil [part two would HAVE to be better. . if they did it]

So I hope they do a Hulk 2

I'm with you. I actually think it was the best of the recent superhero movies, with X2 being the 2nd best.

A lot of that has to do with the fact I think the Hulk is the greatest comic character ever.

Whereas most superheroes have these unbelievable powers that are always around, the hulks powers are triggered by human emotion, and anyone can relate to him. I guess what I'm trying to say is that he's the most "real" superhero.

I think they have to make a sequel to the Hulk. Theres too much money that could be made off of something like that. But I agree that the sequels are usually a lot better than the first movie. I didnt like X-Men that much but I loved X2.

I never saw the Hulk, but I've been a big fan of Bana since Black Hawk Down. That guy has a future.

There's also a lot of money that could be lost off something like that. Since the first movie was a disappointment at the box office and got a critical and fan drubbing, it's less likely a second Hulk movie will be made anytime soon.

I didn't like the fake looking Hulk, would rather have seen a muscle bound guy be the Hulk..but that's just me...

I absolutely loved the first one. I hope there's a second one in the future.

I've never seen a "human" turn green and every time that person jumped he flies through the air :D

I love the Spiderman and X-men movies but the Hulk was garbage to me.

Yeah, he was the best actor in that movie...Brad Pitt just didn't fit the part. Anyonelse think Bana looks like Peja of the Kings (especially in Troy)?

I really enjoyed the first Hulk movie. It's going to be tough to make a Hulk movie since he's not a superhero.

I think he's one of the least "real" superheroes, with people like the X-Men and Fantastic Four being the very least real. They have these amazing headquarters (a tower for the FF, a mansion for the X-Men), they don't ever have to work, their powers are crushing.

The Hulk isn't always what I would call a "superhero" either. When he's the feral Hulk, he doesn't think, he just destroys. If he destroys the bad guys, hey, good for him. But when he stomps around destroying everything else... I just wouldn't call him a superhero.

Spider-man is the most real superhero. Period.

His powers don't do the job for him. He goes out, every night, and stops robberies and rapes and other assorted crimes, and then gets up the next morning and goes to work. He doesn't even have a real job. He has to scrape an existence in freelance photographry. Everyone that he loves dies, he's constantly haunted by his failures, and he still keeps going. He's one of the most inspirational superheroes, and without a doubt, the most "real".

Super hero is the wrong word...I emant comic character.

I just feel like most comic character's powers are far fetched and fantasy, whereas the hulk just turns into a raging lunatic when he gets angry, which is incredibly human. I think most people can relate to spazzing out and getting put of control when they're pissed at one point.

this was from a year ago but Avi Arad said this:

Blade 3: "We have a great script, Wesley (Snipes) is back and we are doing our thing," Arad said. David Goyer is writing and directing.

Hulk 2: "We are just waiting for a script," Arad said. "We are going to make another Hulk, absolutely."

The Punisher: Arad said production starts in two weeks. "Awesome. Great casting. Great movie," he said.

Fantastic Four: "We have a release date and we are all working hard to get there," Arad said of the Christmas 2004 film. Arad confirmed that Ralph Winter, producer of the two X-Men movies, is on board.

Others: "We are very advanced into Iron Man and Elektra. These two are something," Arad said. "Then we'll have news in a couple of weeks on Deathlok. It's a great script, and this movie is going to get made. And we just got a phenomenal director."

I think I would rather see a Deadpool movie than an Elektra one, if we're going with an assassin theme.

Especially if they're going to make Elektra in the Daredevil movie mold. She didn't impress me at all.

Also, I'm surprised there's no plans for a Captain America movie yet.

Looking forward to Fantastic Four, but I really hope they don't ruin it. It seems so easy to do with superhero movies.

Well I wouldn't say that the Hulk got a critical drubbing. 59% tomatometer isn't terrible. But it definitely got beat up at the box office. I doubt Hulk 2 will ever get off the ground, and Ang Lee's career as a big budget summer blockbuster director is in serious jeopardy.

i doubt he cares too much. he's more of an indie director anyway.
his current project is Brokeback Mountain a gay love story of two cowboys played by Jake Gylenhall and Heath Ledger

reminds me of that South Park episode where they had that film festival with one about two gay cowboys eating pudding

In 2005, two movies based on Marvel comics will open: "Electra" starring Jennifer Garner, and "Fantastic Four," with Michael Chiklis.

The cast is all set for Fantastic 4 except for Dr. Doom. Actually, Doom is probably cast, but still not revealed. Rumor is that Ray Liotta is the guy. The rest of the cast is set and they were introduced at Comicon in San Diego recently.

It's being directed by Tim Story, the guy who directed Barbershop.

Chiklis plays the Thing. Here's audio of Chiklis uttering the Thing's famous line. http://www.superherohype.com/images/clobberintime.mp3
