It’s ridiculous that some here think Levis tape is bad and still want to take AR. Levis has some elite tape, throws and plays that only a handful of people can do. He has some terrible throws that are forced too. But more good than bad, with the worst supporting cast in the top 4
He's a local guy that hopefully young QB's model their work ethic after. His mom and dad should be very proud. It appears to me that Levis is well grounded and has a great work ethic. Levis, like Hurts has a lot to cleanup in his game. There's no flaw in Levis game that cant be overcome with a lot of hard work.
After hearing interviews, I dont get this at all. He seems very confident almost to the point of being cocky. That's not a bad trait for a QB to have. IMHO
Levis did play in a pro style offense and handled it well. Not sure what to call the system at Florida. Levis' durability also makes me wonder if he's a guy who gets hurt easily and will miss time with annoying minor issues. I think AR is above and beyond a better athlete than Levis, while Levis is a more polished QB. Biggest question is do we have the staff to extrapolate and teach AR because if someone shows him HOW to be a good QB and puts him in a position to succeed the guy can really redefine the position.
Levis' game is full of flaws. He is a one-trick pony: Throws Hard. Texans are not taking Levis. People are guessing because the Texans have had no leaks.
Texans are not taking Levis. Don't get your hopes up. LOL. Those betting old by Vegas is being driven by Social Media. They don't know what the Texans are doing and the CJ Stroud hit machine to get him to drop to certain teams is making people speculate because they have nothing else to go on.
Colts are taking Levis or Young at pick 2 when we make a trade. We will take either Anderson, Tyree, or Carter at 4. I think Carter is a dark horse in the top 7.
We spend a lot of time beating ourselves up about these guys. The media is also having fun with the Texans' trade options because the other teams in search of a QB largely are in our division too, making trading difficult. I find it most interesting if we could double down on our approach. If Levis turns out to be a dud, I want him even more so in our division. It means a division opponent used a valuable asset on a subpar player and we take advantage. If we really believe as a group that Richardson/Stroud/Levis aren't going to pan out, I want Tennessee and Indy on the horn giving me more of their future capital and helping them double down on their misjudgment, not shying away from it.
We will see, Does that trick include mobility? Would you agree that Levis has the tools to become a franchise level QB? Why is it that Stroud/AR can improve on their weaknesses with proper coaching, but Levis can't?
Just say hell no to White Levis. The city of Houston is done with white QBs. DeMeco knows what the fans want. Go D if you don’t want Stroud or Richardson.
One of the knocks I've seen often mentioned concerning Levis is his lack of situational awareness within the pocket. That is something a person can be made more aware of. But things such as having good peripheral vision are not really coachable.
I agree completely with this, but I do think the S2 shows he has the ability. That’s what it tests for, peripheral and reaction times
It's hard to say, he really didn't have much time in the pocket last yr, so pocket awareness really shouldn't be judged off of last yrs performance. He looked much better in 2021. The reason I dont want Levis is he's to robotic in his progressions. This is the same issue Mills has. But if Ryans/Slowik want Levis then obviously they think they can coach this out of him. Obviously Levis has talent.
Dude sucks ass lol With Young expected to be gone, take true talent in Richardson, Stroud, Tyree or Anderson.
