Yes I think liberal media Twitter people do engage his social media clips to offer commentary/outrage, I don’t know anyone on the left that is just regularly sharing his content with friends for the heck of it.

Now my MAGA mom, uncle, and cousins… yeah I get clips of his all the time in our family group texts and emails. Usually those are about stuff he says regarding white Christians being persecuted which gets him a ton of vitality on the right. He knows where the fear mongering can have the most effect. Doing things like hosting a white supremacist on his show… yeah that’ll get him vitality among the media twittersphere… but his bread is buttered with the evangelical crowd and the fear mongering rants he did every night to go viral on more broad right wing media outlets like Facebook and YouTube.

 

I heard he was Episcopalian, which is more christian-adjacent, than really christian.

I honestly have no idea. I watched that clip from his heritage speech someone posted above, and back when I watched the news, maybe 15 years ago, he sometimes showed up on Baby Brett's panel. seemed intelligent.
