this watched him play against Texas, and he was pedestrian, getting handled by a true freshman tackle
The VY / Mario Williams draft was weird because of the high profile names…Reggie is Gale Sayers!!!!!!!!! Aside from that, this may be the strangest draft ever. Even the “safe” picks aren’t safe. Feels like a total crap shoot.
I think I've decided if not Bryce Young, I want Richardson. I don't care how you get him, or at what pick. I know it could be really really stupid, but the lottery ticket is worth it. Something this franchise hasn't had in a long time: hope and aspirations of greatness. I'd take him second overall. Get it done Nick.
Marc Vandermeer is absolutely head over heels in love with Hendon Hooker...this just means that Hooker is going to be awful and the Texans should stay far far away from him...
So if Wilson has a lisfranc injury in each foot plus a back issue and Anderson doesn't have any elite traits why not take a shot with Levis or whichever qb they like best. Hell I'd reconsider Carter at this point. Shaping up to be a pretty bad draft...
I just don't understand what people see in Hooker? Just because he has good footwork? Dude is 25 and people are saying you won't know what you have with him for three years, due to injury and the gimmicky offense he played in... I don't even see how he's a first rounder, other than the position he plays...
The best defensive player in the draft is Jalen Carter. So we could pass on QB & the best defensive player? Would be pretty sad!
Texans aren't trading up to #3, Colts are staying at #4. He's gone before the fifth pick prolly. It's kind of difficult.
Pre draft jitters. Outside of Carter, literally nothing has changed with these prospects since the end of the season. None more so than Anderson himself. No need to get cute, stay the course.
Yeah, I don't know what happened with Will Anderson between 2021 and 2022, but in 2022, he just wasn't "the guy" to me. In their biggest games, he didn't do much of anything. He seemed to struggle against Big Tackles that he had to come up with a 2nd move against. But I still think he's the safest defensive line pick. I think Caserio knows he needs to knock this out of the park. I don't think he's going to even consider trading down UNLESS a.) Bryce is gone AND b.) he gets a mind-melting offer for #2. Without a good offer on the table, he's got to decide to pass up on a consensus top-5 player at the team's biggest need??? That's the sort of overthinking that gets GM's fired. On the other hand, if he gets a massive offer, and trades back, and still gets any QB, I think he'll be ok.

Yeah it seems like every year there are a couple of guys that look like can’t miss future stars. Usually a WR or dominant OT. This year it’s like everyone has question marks. WR and LB are super weak. The one elite DT might be out of shape and has questionable character. All of the DEs seem to have injuries or flaws. The QBs are a complete crapshoot. No hot shot S and the two CBs barely get mentioned. The only guy everyone gushes over is Bijan. It’s like an entire draft of second round talents. Maybe Nick feels the same and just trades down and fills holes, picks up picks for next year.
Better the other way around. There will be plenty of pretty good defensive players at 12. I don't think Richardson gets past Indy. Now if Indy gets their hands on Anthony Richardson, we're done bros. Its game over man! They would rule over the division for years.
