    You could be on to something

    Thing is coaches rely heavily on overall supreme talent while those star level players need a strong mind coach to keep them accountable where it trickle downs to the lesser role(but still vital) players

    So while Tatum/Brown/Smart get lions share of rightful credit it was still Udoka who was captain of the ship

    Plus he came from Pop coaching tree which is prominent in NBA circles and being with those east coast teams (nets/celts) would warrant major bias in those markets, just on name/tradition alone

    Motivation and focus has to come from self and the staff, and it starts in the off-season programs, TBD

    ......... Schroder then traded to the Houston

    Ime is a great hire! While the off court drama he had is concerning, I see this a redemption opportunity both for him and Stone/Tilman.

    Those guys inherited a ready made contender and procedeed to dismantle it. They tore everything apart and tanked hard the past 3 years, and now they have a clean slate to build it back up. Ime has a chance to reaffirm his position in the upper echelon of current NBA coaches, and if he keeps his off court stuff in check, I think he will have success here.

    Our youngsters were running the asylum, and luckily that is over now, with Ime on board. Now we will see what they're made of.

    All in all, a great hire that shows the Rockets mean business. The first made step in the right direction. Now We wait until May 16th for the next one, and hopefully We have some luck coming our way...

    Great move and it feels finally like there is a light at the end of the tunnel we've been stuck in for a few years. Still a lot of work to do on the roster but this is the right way to take the next step.
