Whole direction could turn on the dime instantly if we land Wemby. I don't necessarily agree with trading young high-upside players for a star, but I'd at least understand it if we land Wemby. If we land Scoot we're still going to be looking really, really good going forward, just probably not playoffs/play-in quite yet.

Well I expected we'd get Nurse and Ime would go to the Raptors. But hats off to Stone and the FO for getting this done and so quickly. From everything I've heard about Ime as a coach and his work ethic, I'm so happy with the hire. Glad we get a full preseason with him. Now for the perfect off-season, we just need a top 3 pick (Hopefully 1st) and a good trade ie Jalen Brown. Can't wait for next season already
I think IME got a bit blown up by the east coast media bias . I’m not sure how much credit he can take . Many great coaches credit the players . The players liked ime and said he pushed them hard . I hope he hasn’t gone soft I hope he can motivate and focus our young guys . I do wonder what we will do . Are the rockets planning up some crazy moves ? How many will we keep ?
Fantastic signing. This guy will utilise freak athleticism of Green, porter Junior and in particular Jabari into a solid defensive unit. I’m curious to see if he can turn Jabari into a defensive player candidate. Also he and Jaylen Green and Harden are really, really tight.
Best possible pick for coach. Low risk huge reward. IMO Udoka has the real good setup to make history in Houston. I would not be surprised if we make the playoffs next year and compete for a chip in 3-4. Havent this been excited since Adelman. 50% of work is done, Wemby and we are fully loaded.
If Stone wants to ace the offseason, he removes that headache before the season, to give Ime a clean start. But if he doesn't, KPJ will not last long under Ime. Unless he goes through some complete personality change.
