The first three picks come from Isiah's period of running the show but after that is Glen's. Re the Bender pick, Glen has said afterwards that if they kept that pick they would've used it on Bender still.

From this end it doesn't look like Toronto is giving up on Hakeem, they are just holding firm on whatever offer they have already made (prob a first round draft pick, either there own or the one they have from Seattle that is lottery protected) and with the new teams entering the fray it looks like Toronto is pulling back.

The Raptors wanted Carter the entire time. The only reason they picked Jamison is because they had a prearranged deal with Golden State that would bring them some extra cash.

If Glen Grunwald drafted Bradley, you can bet your bottom dollar he'll turn out to be a heck of a player.

Bradley is a moot point, he was signed yesterday. As Cat mentioned, he is untouchable until Christmas!!!!

Viper, Toronto will not be able to sign Hakeem straight up (even though they would love to get him that easy). Hakeem might have an ego for money, but he wants the Rockets to look bad, not himself - if he leaves that way. That is why is agent has already mentioned a S&T could be negot. that would give the Rockets something in return. If Toronto only offers garbage, the Rockets will never agree to the S&T. There has to be a center involved, unless the Rockets already have a deal made to ship out Cato and/or Walt for our starting 5th man.

And you can bet your bottom dollar that they will be gone from Toronto within 3 or 4 years after being drafted.

No, Im tottaly serious. Look at Toronto's draft record.
    1. Damon Stoudammire (ROY)
    2. Marcus Camby
    3. Tracy McGrady
    4. Vince Carter
    5. Bender (Traded for A.Davis)
    6. Morris Peterson

THe drafting staff really knows what their doing. The fact that they drafted a PF, a position in which the Raptors didn't need another body, really means that they like the guy a lot.

ps: Yep, you maybe right, Rocks. But that's not the point though...

The Pacers wanted Bender, not Toronto.

Yea I know, I just wanted to give the WHOLE recap. Out off all of those guys, Bender has probably showed the least so far anyways, right...

But trust me, Bradley will be good. Saying all that, I think you guys might be well of by taking picks and the exception in the Toronto trade. It would also allow you to go after Jackson. A young guy, who fits into your rebuilding mode.
