Generational defender and DPOY finalist Mobley out there doing work on both offense and defense. Where's that poster who kept claiming Mobley is better than Franz Wagner by a mile?
I was told that Sengun was unplayable in playoffs. The thing is offense is just as important as defense. Always has been and in playoffs too not just in regular season. No matter how good of a defender you are they are gonna hit 3s and you will have to answer. Mobley doesn't have the fire power.
Sorry ass Scub Evan Mobley still didn’t do shiii this game or this series. Where are the dumb asses that say they still would of drafted Mobley over Jalen Green at? Bunch of Dumb asses! Evan Mobley is a Bonafide overrated SCRUB!
Locked On Rockets Doofuses said so, Jackson Gatlin, Ben Dubose, Roosh, Alykhan Bijani All are still Simping for Evan Mobley. It is shameful and makes no sense. Evan Mobley is I think outdated in the sense that his jumpshot is slow, and offensively doesn't have many moves or elite handles. Jabari Smith I think has more potential than Mobley. Jabari Smith quick release, textbook shot, Fadeaway Post Move. Really looks like Kevin Garnett. I wanted Jalen Green in the Beginning, Very Thankful Eli Witus, Rafael Stone and the Front Office Selected the Best Player in the Draft. Everyone is more Questionable more than Jalen Green, except for Josh Giddey who is the Biggest Surprise in that Draft.
The biggest overrated Scrub in the game! He can’t shoot worth a shiii! Nor is his defense any good in this series!
But but but...... he's a DPOY finalist his second season in But but but......nevermind, I Am all out of but narratives
Mobley aint SHII* without Garland and D Mitchell that makes him look good without those 2 helping him, that fool Mobley would be a lost ass clown. He’s already a damn overrated Scrub. He’s lucky Jarret Allen is carrying most of the load on defense while Mobley’s sorry ass take the credit for it. Again Mobley would look lost like a MF’er without those 3 on the team, he’s just so fortunate he’s surrounded by 3 stars. Imagine If he switched teams with Jalen Green playing on the Rockets… damn the media would destroy his sorry ass in a heart beat!! No wonder his dad didn’t want him to go to Houston because he knew his sorry ass son needs a star point guard for him to play well because his sorry ass can’t score or create his own shot for himself or others. And that’s the damn truth!
But but but...... he's a DPOY finalist his second season in But but but......nevermind, I Am all out of but narratives Mobley is just showing what he was coming out of USC, a high end defender who can switch on all positions and makes the so called right play which is another way of saying he would rather pass than take over a game by getting buckets Those you mention are no doubt carrying the scoring load but if you take them off Mobley would probably score 3 more ppg but his defense would probably take a hit being he had to take more of a scoring role I think last year his overall Defense impact took a dive when Allen got hurt, so of course Allen helps the young bull If Mobley would have been drafted by Rockets his mob supporters would just blame it on coaching and lack of play making by guards, and his individual defense wouldn't be enough to have him in the DPOY position he has with Cavs because the team defense of Rockets would still be awful I would have drafted Green just based on entertainment / box office value, and being a bottom feeder rebuild team you need a player who those would want to come and see put on a show, which Mobley is not that guy, but he is a solid young player and will be in the DPOY hunt for next 5 seasons at least Well at least his dad was aware and put his son in best situation to start career but after rookie contract he is going to have to ante up, pops won't be able to save him then
Evan Mobley is straight up trash! I’m so glad the Rockets didn’t pick his sorry ass! The Knicks are straight up destroying his sorry bum ass.
I hope this game series is a reminder to the mobley folks who keeps pining for him that we did fine picking green
[Late but] Honestly just meant situational use of midrange. Definitely not entire game. Mostly 4th quarter/OT when its down to few alternating possessions. Sometimes you just need a closeout bucket or 2, not "points per shot". League average midrange is 40%, average threes is 35%. I assumed the hypothetical that a layup normally is best %, but playoff refs can swallow the whistle on paint action. And midrange is what the D allows, raising it to a 44-45%" shot. Thats 10% better chance to preserve lead than a forced three and possibly forced drive (Its also part of the "Harden worse in the playoffs" effect that I'm referring to. Take away 3 & layups & looking for calls. Not saying "midrange" solves it but it can diversify a little bit)
