Amen Thompson can not shoot…if we ended up with him, I would feel uneasy

every athletic guard with a suspect jumper will get the Russ, Ja, John Wall, D-Rose, etc comparisons

I like Amen Thompson. If he had a serviceable jump shot he’d be a lock at #3.

But give me Brandon Miller. He’s going to be a scorer in the NBA at 6’9.

Whoever has the highest IQ and is an tall lengthy wing defender. We don't have a lot of high IQ players on the team currently.

That would be Brandon Miller. Watched him play all year and he fits the bill. Floor is Robert Horry. Ceiling is Paul George.

Miller isn't anywhere near as athletic as Paul George. His ceiling is Danny Granger.

If you look at the above chart J.R. just posted, you'll see he was only really efficient at catch-and-shoot opportunities, which were a very high percentage of his makes. I do not buy into the shot creation in the NBA--for me he is a 3-and-D wing. We can pick up a guy who is already close to Miller's absolute ceiling in free agency or trade. You wouldn't trade the #3 pick for a guy like Cam Johnson, so why would you spend it on one?

I'd take Jarace Walker over anyone else...including Miller.

And, forget about the whole thing with him "being too young".

We CANNOT pass up this opportunity.
