"bijan has a better chance to go in the top 10 than Stroud, believes levis will be the second guy off the board, has asked other people around the league and people have asked him where stroud is going and it's I don't know, Stroud was better at Ohio State than Fields"
For what it's worth, before it gets deleted, there was a Columbus Area Newspaper pumping up Stroud being a Counselor at the Manning Academy. The article is from June 2022. We know he never actually went to the academy, so something is definitely fishy here. https://www.dispatch.com/story/spor...ounseling-manning-passing-academy/7686196001/
LIES!!!!!! David M and his clients assured us Stroud never committed. Who are you going to believe? Right @Sooty ?
[ hi mate - same with Griffin. He said he did not commit to going either, supposedly did research on the topic with the Mannings. It’s conjecture at best.
Yeah, watch some tape buddy. This is such lazy analysis that its just pure disrespect. Say you have never watched him play and move on.
No, you missed that video. That has been the main knock on him actually. Easily overlooked and forgotten.
Are we sure that is the specific camp Quinn is referring to? He mentions in the article below it was something Stroud “committed to the night before” so doesn’t seem the same. Just looked through a few articles and don’t see anything that Stroud was listed a roster somewhere. Also doesn’t go along with what Quinn is saying either that he committed the night before. Listen I’m not saying that it is false but I’m also going to call out bs that maybe completely made up. You have to admit that something like this probably gets out earlier and reported by more reputable sources. When you are a potential #1 pick and dealing with the Mannings, it’s not something Brady Quinn happens to just stumble over a week before the draft. https://www.dispatch.com/story/spor...-ohio-state-football-quarterback/70131385007/
https://bleacherreport.com/articles...particularly-sold-on-taking-qb-with-no-2-pick While appearing on SportsCenter on Thursday afternoon, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the organization may not be convinced by some of the top prospects at the position and might pivot in another direction, mainly toward defense: "We don't know that the Houston Texans, despite conventional wisdom, are going quarterback at two. In fact, there seems to be increasing speculation that the Texans won't go quarterback at two. That they'll go with the highest-rated defensive player on their board in this draft ... The thinking around the league is they don't seem particularly sold on going quarterback at two." REPORT: Houston Texans Won’t Draft C.J. Stroud Because Of Deshaun Watson
I have watched him play. In a clean pocket with the best WR group in the country he is great. He gets pressure, he is bad. The ONLY game he did well under pressure was the Georgia game, which he had over a month to prepare for. Both Levis and Richardson have better arms and more athletic ability. Richardson's receiving group was something like 103 in the country and had one of the highest drop rates. His top WR is predicted to go in the 6th round if not undrafted. Completion % means nothing when you put the ball in the receiver's hands and they drop it. They dropped 9 passes in just the 2nd HALF against FSU. Levis had no receivers either last year and he was hurt. The season before he was very good. Stroud was in an offense that has been in the top 5 for years. If you want another Field's but less athletic or a Haskins (RIP) with a worse arm and less athleticism, by all means draft Stroud.
Guess until I hear Ian confirm it.. then I’ll believe it. I’m guessing will get a clear picture early next week hopefully before the draft so Texans fans are prepared.. I’m guessing the initial rage will be strong….
There's also proof on the Passing Academy's Facebook page, that he was at least invited by late April. Something definitely doesn't add up... IMHO.
Believe what you want, it's in black and white. I choose to believe this. Obviously you don't and that's fine.
Exactly. If he didn't commit why doesn't come out and say so? You know why he isn't saying this? Because then Peyton and Eli have to say something. They don't if it is just his agent and players saying stuff. Can you imagine if Peyton and Eli came out and called him a damn liar?
