Well that's what we had until this Toronto series. We didn't capitalize and we have breathed air into the life of the Texas Rangers thinking they can win this division now.
The Astros had Detroit here a couple weeks ago and lost 2 of 3. You have to capitalize against the crappy teams when you face them.
Series win against a good team. Garcia gem against a good lineup. Hopefully sign of things to come. Next 2 series will be tough but maybe that's what it takes for Houston to wake up.
Shame we don't have anyone on the IL ourselves, then we could trade injury stories and hardships. Never knew you were a Dallasite, you're still ok though.
For all those that love to gloat over losses and say "I told you so" "they have no heart to win" please come on back in and gloat over the wins or is that not your thing? Yea I know, next post will be "well no way they win it all" yea maybe not and you can always just be a fan, objective of course but enjoy the victories also. BTW I'm not proclaiming we're a juggernaut but lets be consistent at least.
The most whiffs any pitcher had with a cutter in a single game last season was 17 by Corbin Burnes. Only 19 times total last season did a pitcher accrue 10+ whiffs on their cutter in a single game. Garcia’s 19 whiffs tonight on his cutter is pretty damn impressive. Whatever he did tonight using that pitch, do it again.
