    I hate to remind people of this but Laura Bush spoke at the 2000 Republican convention (remember when the backdrop lifted and there were multi-colored kids in a classroom set?). I even started a thread about the speech. It was horrible. She had no business being up there, just as THK didn't (and I can say that without having seen the speech).

    So...unprecedented? Stupid.
