Woke failure: forcing the smart kids with the dumbs kids in algebra backfires

    Woke equality scheme doesn’t work for math

    Woke people don’t understand if the kids and parents don’t care about math they won’t suddenly be smart at math cause there’s smart kids forced to be in their class

    this is like sticking Usain Bolt in a track class with fat kids
    The fat kids aren’t going to get faster because they stuck a bunch of Olympic track stars in their class

    If i was the parent i would welcome this arrangement. What parent doesn't want their kid to b 1st in class, looks nice on the application when applying for college

    Also when you apply for college you need to take a test to place out of AP Calculus

    Still, the class of 2019 took fewer AP math courses than students who had come before them. White, Asian, Black, and Latino students all saw declines, with an especially sharp decrease for Asian students.

    This finding, the researchers write, “is consistent with the hypothesis that delaying Algebra I until ninth grade made it difficult for some students to complete the sequence of course prerequisites that would position them to take AP Calculus before graduating.”

    This concern was at the heart of opposition to the district’s policy. Parents argued that students interested in pursuing more challenging math courses, or preparing to major in STEM fields in college, wouldn’t be able to access higher-level courses in the new sequence.

    My biggest take away from watching that video is the concern of whether they are going to take away tests such as SAT scores because towards the end that was what was indicated... this wouldn't be about giving minorities a chance... this would be about faking the realness - look at a country like Japan. They are so test prevalent the numbers matter more than anything, even to the point that sometimes they are way too numerical emphatic without looking at other criteria- but kids in that country (and over here oftentimes) take school seriously to the point where they compare what rank they are all the time - with an emphasis on valuing traditional parent roles and this mindset on education is it no wonder Asians are the highest earning people in this country from a racial comparison-it's because they freaking earn it - they don't have a victim mindset

    The pattern I am seeing from anything that is inclusive of woke Ideology is that there is a victim mindset. I saw a YouTube short, but the lady says I am black. I am not a victim. I am not oppressed - (I couldn't be more proud of her, and this is someone I would want to be associated with, absolutely because of her mindset) - that lady is genuinely a winner with her mentality - but you have this trash white woke female trying to convince her how she should believe based on a victim philosophy otherwise- it's nonsensical

    It's parenting and victim mentality
    also like @pgabriel said, dual parent households have a better chance than a single parent for having discipline kids.

    It's not the color of the skin either, it's the values
    Look at the Nigerians, they come in with the same values as the other immigrants such as Indians and Asians

    Also my analogy is correct, if you force advanced kids to take the same classes as the non advanced kids, it's not going to change a thing

    Kinda like putting an NBA player in the Chinese league, the Chinese league players don't become as good as the NBA player
    And the competition is so weak
    a scrub from the NBA can dominate
