What is good? Need a definition.

Flaming out in the 1st or 2nd round, is that good?

We had that with Yao and Tracy because the farther up you climb the disappointment and expectation are very much going to grow.

Turns out that Spurs won the more meaningless game on their last game, especially knowing that we won our game earlier. But, it all depends on the ping pong balls to see if we are really lucky. We've been bad for three years.. Got to keep the no 2 and 3 pick in the last two years.. And not falling out of top three. I wonder if we will be lucky again to get top two. Please wembyyy

I dont understand why dd is so adamant about trading a pick 2-6. Good is better to me. Why the hell can’t the rockets be better without doing that??

    Sengun/Green/Jabari/Eason all a year older
A better guard starting with Green that is more conducive to make his teammates betterm
    A better coach
Ample free agent cap space to sign players
    Clippers pick to trade
    Christopher/Garuba/Martin/KPJ/Tate/TyTy to trade
Even the Nets picks & swaps if you find a particular player unavailable with everything listed above.

All of that should make you to some extent better and/or good. Otherwise the pick this year though could be someone that could be great 3 years from now and perhaps make another player that doesn’t fit as well expendable.

Having a dogmatic certainty that you should trade a pick if it is 2-6. Well they should have started to just try and win this year then. Because they would have had a pick 6-13 I guess if they would have tried to. They didn’t though so use the f u c * i n g pick and try to add an elite player to Green/Jabari and others along with some vets and a new coach.

If it's a response to DD, never mind.

I can understand why they did what they did.

Green wasn't likely a superstar, Jabari likely no superstar, rinse repeat with Wemby.

DD thinks everyone outside of Wemby is expendable which isn't crazy.

I mean I am not agreeing or disagreeing but it's a hot take.

    Until proven wrong.

Lol, we're really going to pretend this was out of the org's control?

The org is completely incompetent from the top to the bottom, and has been since day 1 of the tilman Era.

You're right in that the org couldn't have randomly become competent without major changes across the board, but to act like the outcome was beyond control is absurd.

based on the last 2 drafts #2 has got the #1. Lets hope this happens 1 more time for Wemby!

I think Wemby on the rockets might be insane.

I knew this would be brought up. It crossed my mind…plus of course Tony Parker helped make this happen for Pop’s final few seasons
