Depends, nfl ppl thinking Bryce will be great, yea, maybe 60-70% who are looking at everything outside of his size (which is different than overlooking).. but nfl thinking Bryce is the better prospect than Levis/Richardson it’s easily 90% if not 100…

The thing with @raining threes and some of these other posters, is that it is WIDLEY regarded that if Bryce Young was 6’2” he would be the consensus top pick by a LONG SHOT. What is annoying is that at the start of all this, they said “he’s too small”. But now that everyone is loving on Bryce young, they feel they need to add to their argument: “he’s got too much talent around him” “s2 scores don’t matter” “he can’t throw it as far as Mahomes” “he’s the only small qb ever” while also boosting up inferior QBs because their height isn’t scary. And suddenly everyone who is still a fan of Young is a “midget fan” and not someone who is just looking past the height and at the other attributes.. it’s just weird.

meanwhile, I’ve had the same thoughts on all the QBs throughout, some of those thoughts even getting affirmed as the testing, combine, and tape gets scrutinized..

Kyler Murray didn’t fail because of his midgetness. (“We’re gonna put a “study the playbook” clause in your contract.”)
Johnny Manziel didn’t fail because of his midgetness. (Party/drug animal)
Baker Mayfield didn’t fail because of his midgetness.

On that note, I guess JaMarcus Russell, Brock Osweiler, Paxton Lynch, Josh Freeman, etc. failed because they were “too tall”.

Now the people who don’t like this QB class (fair enough) are proposing Middle-of-the-pack Mac [Jones].

Now that is a Texans move.

Get back to me when the next under 6'0 QB not named Russell Wilson wins a SB. BTW, Wilson is short, he's not small like Young

    They are doing this.

They are putting their jobs on the line, or at least they should be. I can respect this.

    1. I think if Mike Florio’s ear to the ground is true, and Nick Caserio could leave the Texans after the draft, I’m pretty sure this is not the way to build an NFL franchise. Imagine your GM making seven picks in the top 50 over two years, and then imagine that GM leaving, and then imagine a new GM coming in to be the architect of a team with seven cornerstone players he had nothing to do with picking. Do I buy the Caserio rumor? Well, it wouldn’t surprise me—let’s just say that. The part of the rumor that doesn’t make sense to me is the prospect of Caserio returning to New England. It would strike me as odd if he went back to the Patriots. First, he didn’t leave the organization on the best of terms; the Patriots filed tampering charges against Houston in 2019 for contact with Caserio, charges that were dropped when Houston dropped its attempt to hire him. But the Texans did hire him as GM in 2021. In the meantime, the Patriots seem happy with Matt Groh and Eliot Wolf as director of player personnel and director of scouting, respectively. Where would there be a spot for Caserio, especially after leaving a plum GM job?

I am by no means a fan of Caserio, but all these rumors and made up **** just to have something to. talk about is wack AF!

People literally just say anything with the sole intent to force the Texans to show their hand.

These reporters and radio cats really just be bored.

I like that the Texans are mum on ALL AND ANY INTENTIONS!

    Thats how it should be.

I would like to answer questions but there is too much poverty in the world, like the getto boys say, the world is a ghetto. Please redirect your questions to Calhoun's email

I did like that Nick referenced Wolf of Wall street. Had he quoted the scene I'd given him GM of the year right there and then.

This era of giving "insiders" infallible clout is wreckless. I love GMs who dangle carrots in front of them just to watch them chase each others tails!

To be fair, the original rumor was that there could be some shakeup in the front office which could very well still happen.
