Who does Seattle want to give up that much for #2?

If the Texans are truly not sold on a QB. They need to trade back.

The fact we haven't even heard pick 2 up for sale is all we need to know.

Pick 3 is up for grabs, its well known.

Texans may just be waiting to see what Carolina does. If Young is available at #2, I think he's the pick unless someone wants to offer a significant trade.
#12 could be a trade depending on who is on the board.
This draft is gonna be a ride.

If I'm guessing, it would be AR. With a vet QB in place, they can let him sit/learn and run some packages for him to grow him slowly. Ideal situation for developing his immense talent.

You also remember when Luck/Elway/Manning was available. The highly rated guys are more likely to hit than turn out like Rattler.

But he's most likely not going to be picked 1-1, when 2 weeks ago he was projected to go 1-1.

Could be smoke from certain teams, like the Colts.

They're trying to clean up the mess made for Stroud.

Our opinions differ when it comes to processing under pressure.

Processing under pressure? You process before pressure gets there. That is the point lol.

I'm talking about being able to sit back there like he did in college with a clean pocket Look at how Young reacted under pressure vs Stroud as an example of what I'm talking about. Under pressure Young still consistently stood in took the hits and most importantly new where to go with the ball. Something that Stroud has yet to prove he can do on a consistent basis.

We're really talking about 2 different things.

Are they? I mean in one post you talk about how we shouldn’t waste a top 2 pick on anyone one in this class even tho they are rated that high because QBs bust, and you point out Mahomes and Watson and how we should just get Henson hooker late. But then when I compare Williams and Maye to other busts that got picked early you bring out how highly rated usually means you work out like Luck, Manning, and Elway… which is it?

Lawrence and Wilson were ranked high 1 and 2, so were Mariota and Winston, don’t forget wentz and Goff, hell Bradford got the most money as a #1 pick ever at the time.

anyone can find anyone to fit their narrative, I’ll even admit that’s what I’m currently doing. In the end they could all bust.

edit. And don’t say “generational” I’ve seen 3 recently (one is the goat, one is currently the best, and one popped a spleen and quit the league way early-uh oh, was that one too small?)
