if not for the play-in, there would be more teams calling the season quits 2/3 of the way through and undergoing shameless tanking further ruining the product these play-in games have been great...clutch shots, high stakes moments in do or die games, crying like a proud momma, etc one of the rare Adam Silver W's
the play-in is the only reason the Pelicans made the playoffs last year and we got a very fun PHX-Pels series instead of some boring sleep inducing PHX-LAC series play-in is the only reason a young team like OKC might make the postseason, and I'd much rather watch them than this Wolves team in this year's playoffs
Just feel like there are better ways to address tanking (as already discussed in the tank thread). One-and-done/double-elim tournaments are fun though, you're right. Let's just go back to having 16 teams and make the first round for seeds 6-8 something like the play-in. I always prefer more meaningful regular seasons. It's what we spend the highest amount of time watching. The league keeps repeatedly lowering its importance and they've reached a point where there's almost no point in even tuning in anymore.
KAT and Gobert surprisingly gels fairly OK. Edwards is the one who seem to needed adjustment with their bigs because of the change in spacing. So far game's been close.
Karl Towns is cranking up the complaints and b****ing to the refs, could be on track for tears before halftime
What a dumb call to use your challenge on. Yes, it was out off Joe but it's the second quarter. Silas would never... Although Scott Foster having to admit he was wrong was pretty good, can't say I didn't like that lol
Jalen Williams gonna have to put the team on his back...I really don't wanna see this boring ass Wolves team in the playoffs
