Sonics inquire about Damon Jones

    We'd have to take a additional contract back considering that any Sonic savings by unloading AD would be eaten up by Jones' salary. Maybe they think they can sign Jones for AD current contract value for longer period knowing that AD's gone after this year and pick up a #1 from us to boot. I wouldn't mind that too much, but if we have to take back one of their big man's bloated contracts, I'd rather just sign Jones and Keon Clark.

    I think they have eyed someone for their team and realize that they could only acquire that player via trade. I think Daniels is the only person that they are willing to part with and is tradable with the demand of point guards.

    What big man bloated contracts? Vitaly and Jerome James are in their final years, Cal Booth just got shpped to Dallas. I understand you're concerned about Leslie's money, but c'mon this is getting ridiculous. If he is so cheap not to accept an expiring contract in the $5-6mil range in order to get Antonio Daniels and the fans are actually sympathetic to him, that's just a travesty...
