nice yao seems to be more agressive. 1 dunk shot, 2 block shots, went to the line 2 times. But he had 2 turnovers wich the guy stole the ball while we was doing his backdown. That´s still the same Yao I know
then he got his next dunk blocked because he didn't go up strong enough. still though... he's really quick in transistion -- defense and offense. good stuff. the rockets need a guy like that. meanwhile... rest of Chinese team still pretty sloppy, especially on fast breaks.
Man that practise was ugly. It's like watching a bunch of high schooler balling. The Chinese PGs are still pretty pathetic.
Is this a Yao highlight practice recording? He seemed to dominate in every aspect in the pain in every possession. There is zero intensity in the practice though. It looks like a pickup basketball game.
... yea, bad shot selection, every pass touches the rafters and goes cross court, they dont seem like a very solid team. yao's still huffing and puffing too. damn.
Well, I still have problem with his rebounds ! Look at the last one. he's still trying to touch it , instead of grab it. He's not jumping at all
If the video are not working for you guys, maybe the photo gallery can !!! The above training was the LAST training open to the public by the China national team, as they are to depart for Europe on the 29th for Serbia and Montenegro to participate in a FIBA 2nd Diamond Ball tournament to be held in Belgrade from July 31 to August 3, and then to Lithuania for some friendly matches and then to Athens. Here are photos from the major Chinese websites (sina.com and sohu.com) which I am not going to post every one of it. Just a few Yao Ming ones:- Sohu.com: http://2004.sports.sohu.com/20040728/n221231170.shtml Sina.com: http://2004.sina.com.cn/photo_zt/333/index.shtml
Not sure whether there were close-ups in those video, but this is the NEW Yao Ming signature shoes that Reebok plans to launch later. It has Yao Ming name and #13 (his jersey # in the national team) embroidered on them.
