I'm comparing QB's since they all ran the same offense and IMHO have similar skill sets.

Before discussing anything, let's establish some facts. In 2018, when Tua won the National Championship, he had Daboll as his OC. In the following years, Locksley took over as OC (who later moved on to become HC), and he helped with the up-tempo offense that suited the team's style of play. During this period, Bill O'Brien served as the Texans coach for both Tua and Mac. However, Bill O'Brien didn't become the OC until 2021.

It's impossible to determine how well Tua would have performed if he had been in Bryce's position for 2021 and 2022. On the other hand, if Bryce had been in Tua's position during 2018 and 2019, with the same offensive core, his passing statistics, TDs, and rating would have been astonishing.

The latest post is inaccurate because the offense underwent significant changes due to the players they had from 2018 to 2022 and the change in coaches.

It cannot be denied that Tua has the most powerful arm out of the three.

Mac's greatest strength as a passer was his incredible pocket movement, which allowed him to evade pressure like a seasoned veteran. Mac's biggest issue was he would lock onto a particular target (Devonta) rather than waiting for progressions.

According to one of Tua's pre-draft scouting reports, he had a tendency to hold onto the ball for too long under pressure and was overconfident in pushing the ball down the field rather than taking a simple check-down option. While Tua's processing skills were top-notch, he consistently opted for throwing into tight windows or waiting for a receiver to get open, which was a concern.

It's important to keep in mind that these are different players, and their strengths and weaknesses are unique to them. Especially when it comes to processing with Young.

Did you read the post? 1.2 for 1.14 the pats 2nd round pick this year, their first next year plus Mac or trade down with somebody else like Seattle and give up a 5th for Mac. I wouldn’t trade anything more than a 5th straight up for Mac much less 1.12.

We aren’t reading for a Mac Jones. Get that out of your head.

Rather play Mills than have anything to do with Mac.

    Agree.
Over the last two seasons, Mac Jones rating was 89, while Davis Mills' was 83.3 - hardly a big enough upgrade to trade away a 3rd round pick for - let alone a first.

I would say Jones arm strength is as good or better than Tua's.

They all worked within the pro system, there are changes to offenses every off-season.

All of them are above avg processors. Thanks BOB.

    We dont know this,

What we do know is Young won a Heisman under BOB's tutelage. Pretty good stuff.

I don’t really want him, but I don’t want Stroud or Young either.

    I would rather get Jones for 3-64 and a 5th than Young/Stroud at 1-2.

You’re the one who LIED and stated they all have the same processing thanks to Bob. The game styles also significantly changed due to the game plans implemented by the OC and the players they had on the offensive side of the ball.

Bob only coach one of the three players.

The same Bob that coached Christian Hackenberg, Ryan Mallet, Tom Savage, Brock.

    Hackenberg didn’t win ****.

Why thanks to BOB? Please elaborate.

The game plans were SIGNIFICANTLY different due to the OC’s they had.

did BoB moonlight for Bama as Texans HC?

So you make all this noise that no one will answer you on the difference. Then someone does and you just dismiss it and say “nah, they are all the same”

like wtf is the point with you?

Misspeaking isn't lying and yes, they do all possess the same traits, like I stated in my post above.

The game plans weren't significantly different and if they were it helped Young win a Heisman.

They aren't the same, they all share the same characteristics. Pass 1st, run as a last resort, avg arm strength QB's.

Only one doesn't have prototypical NFL size.

This is my kind of argument. One based on value which incorporates both risk and reward.
