I have defended Meyers here and elsewhere. 2 games is not nearly enough to make a decision. But he has been awful so far. You simply can't K with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs. He did it twice tonight. He is rapidly playing himself out of the league. Right now, for me he gets optioned when Brantley returns, not Diaz or Julks. I still think he should be and could be the best CF on the roster, but he needs to start showing it. Or he will be the next Jordan Schaffer.

I'm not as hopeless on Meyers as most here, but he should be getting backup OF treatment not starter reps. It's absurd Chaz has sat both games, particularly Framber day when Meyers OF range has less value.

I know of several who gave up and adopted, only to get pregnant again within the next year after they stopped trying. The first is the one you get trained on.

I'm not hopeless on him. I was a fanboy before the injury. I just get mad that we keep screwing over Chas even though he consistently produces. Someone should have to prove they are better than Chas to take his playing time.
