If he can't find a backup PG, I would focus on getting shooters! Anyone that can shoot a 3. We also need a Center

    Nahhhhh

Id settle with Schroeder, throw a 3yr bag at Cam Johnson, and sign one more respectable 3&D guard and we good

    KPJ/Schroeder
    Green/Veteran/Christopher
    Miller/Johnson/Draft pick
    Jabari/Tari/Draft pick
    Sengun/Garuba or vet

I think if we are actually striving to compete and not tank next season, this is something like what the roster should look like

That was a delusion I never caught.

It’s been a weird season, putting aside how I feel about Coach Silas, who is weird enough. Here towards the end, we’ve seen some players step up, make strides. Smith, Sengun, Eason have all stepped up their game, in my opinion. Martin is a guy that has been pretty consistent all season and deserves his rotation minutes. If only he was a better shooter from distance. It’s a major problem for him that I hope he fixes in the off-season.

Some have been really up and down, game to game. Jalen’s been that way, I think. Up and down. I’m looking for more consistent play next season. That, and better defense. I think he’s capable of better defense. Some are often focused more on their own game, less on the team, which always bothers me. Porter does that a lot, in my opinion. The guy has talent, but his game, at least for me, is very frustrating.

We really need a point guard.

I agree with Drafting Miller, but I take Harden as our starting 1.

Schroder is making zero impact on a team that crappy, and thinking that Cam Johnson would sign with the worst team in the league to be a bench player is delusional

KPJ at PG for another season…

this isn’t a serious post u just quoted me

    U trolling?

that roster is tanking for OKC

People don’t want to hear it - but the Rockets just don’t have good basketball players. Even on terrible teams someone has to score and it gives the facade of having good players.

There is still hope for some of the players on the Rockets, but they aren’t good at basketball. They fail at doing the little things that lead to wins, they are not remotely efficient, they give inconsistent effort and are selfish. They cannot shoot well enough, now are they good at passing. They are terrible defensively and are poorly coached and don’t really know how to play.

This can change - but right now they are bad.

Schroeder is magic Johnson compared to Nix

You throw Cam one last cash grab before he turns 30 that Brooklyn is unwilling to match I bet we could get him

that’s not saying much…Schroder is still making no impact on a team that sh*tty

forget thinking Cam Johnson would come to the worst team in the league while not being offered a starting position, u actually want to overpay Cam Johnson to the point BK won’t match so that he can come here and be a bench player

    c’mon man, stop trolling

I don’t think you understand how many dynasties I’ve built in 2k myleague when starting a expansion team

You start the players you draft & load the bench with g league talent aka Nix, Mathew’s, Armoni Brooks, Tate, etc.

After you secure your guys Green, Jabari, 2023 top 5, then you spend all your cap on the bench to 2-3 year contracts while your top draft picks are on rookie contracts and develop

I would overpay on short term contracts get guys like Johnson to come off the bench

If Im Stone, and I don’t sign Harden, I’m putting the word on the street to agents Houston is willing to give out the bag to top talents who agree to come off our bench for two years

Rox players need to be locked in the gym till they can hit their 3s.

We need to fire our shooting coach and get a new one. We are supposed to be the 2nd modt prolific 3 pt shooting team but our guys cant shoot straight.

    Rockets is a strange team.
They like 3-pt shooting since Harden era.
But they never recruit good shooter and shooting coach.

Oh they even don't practice 3-pt shooting alot.

Best game of the season for KPJ? Good job getting that trade value up before the offseason, young gun.

Edit: Forgot about the game @Chicago, that one was probably better
