    what the? Didn’t even know that was out lol. On Netflix, that might be a red flag though. I cringe just seeing the logo

    It's a very good movie. I can see how it doesn't appeal to the zoom-pow-cosplay crowd.

    He also spent time working on Mindhunters and Love+Death+Robots, and has The Killer coming this fall.

    I’m a fan of Fight Club but haven’t seen Mr Robot. I’ll have to check it out.

    I bring up Fight Club a lot in discussions about masculinity and philosophy in martial arts. I was talking to a Judo student Wednesday night after practice about how martial arts is inherently violent and that humans especially men are violent. Trying to suppress and deny that can lead to the nihilism that we see in much of society. The idea behind martial arts and the warrior ethos is how to channel that drive to violence for constructive rather than destructive purposes.
