Jalen Green has Harden vibes in that he don't give a **** about how quirky people think he is.

It ain't firearms so let's be thankful for the small wins.

But seriously him being quirky knowing he'd probably be **** talked about and being the butt of jokes with his nail polish and other crap is a type of alpha energy confidence that Harden possessed.

That looks like an SNL skit. Seriouly, he could show up on SNL, and their writers couldn't top that.

I'm hope this doesn't inspire some idiot to try and lop off a head someplace. Severing a head is not as easy as its portrayed in the movies or this commercial. Skits like this are better left for SNL. All it takes is one nut job and this commercial and anyone or anything associated with it will be tainted. Green needs to check his agent, this isn't a good look from any angle.

Not until @Shark44 added a bunch of commentary on solidity of one's neck and movies...

Although, I was concerned with the whole tense race relations and the image of a black dude playing with white dude's head. Probably going to turn heads (no pun intended)

Looks more like a Tim and Eric skit. Those guys are way more influential than they get credit for.

Windy got his multiple sauces mixed up. Reports are it was sloppy.

AQ wasn't big into beheading from what I recall, but ISIS, Taliban, Abu Sayyaf, Boko Haram, and Cartels have used it to spread terror. If anyone is interested, here's an academic article that talks more about the jihadist use of beheading... chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://traccc.gmu.edu/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/BEHEADING-AS-A-SIGNATURE-METHOD-OF-JIHADIST-TERRORISM-FROM-SYRIA-TO-FRANCE-ESJ-4.pdf

In any case this was exceptionally poor judgement by the company and JG.

They wouldn’t have got the 2nd ring without Clyde, remember they were a 6 seed and the ‘Phi Slams Jama’ reinvigorated the team.

You must be a hit at parties o_O … Relax, it’s a dark but silly commercial for an overpriced water.

Gotta disagree on this one. They were 24-17 when they made the trade. Went 17-18 on their way to that 6th seed.

    Don't underestimate it .. ;)

38 years in my business does suck a lot of light from my view of the world. ;) Symbolism is used against us every day to desensitize us. This is a particularly nasty example that weaves the game I love and kids into the messaging. Sorry Grove but I can't not call it out for what it is.

So you think this water company and Jalen Green are trying to desensitize people to what cartels do? "Symbolism is used against us" suggests that this commercial is made with the intent to harm us. That seems... nuts.

I think the more likely scenario is they wanted to make a weird and funny commercial. As I said above, this is very much Tim and Eric style humor.
