For me it's a tie between Carl Lewis and Lance Armstrong.

How can competitive bike racing not be a sport?

They train like dogs.. it's something that VERY few people can do well..

Carl Lewis wins out as probably the most athletically gifted man ever.. Lance Armstrong is the most dedicated athlete ever.. Michael Jordan is the most competitive athlete ever.. etc etc

Its a tossup between Buzz Aldrin's 6 Tour De France wins and David Letterman's great play at RB for the Detroit Tigers.

bowling is a sissy sport. all they do is roll a ball and try to knock down some pins. Big deal. anybody can do that, and you do even have to be in shape. what a bunch of sissies. haha:p

If you can overcame 5 different cancers, and get back up and win 6 tour de frances bike competions in a row. You should be the best athlete ever. Probably one of the most underated sports. Imagine being on a 10-speed going up hills and all that other ****... I dont know, in my opinion hes definately top 3 of all time.
