Little known fact about Tuchel is that not Ralf Rangnick was his main mentor (as many people think), but Holger Badstuber's father (who died young from cancer).

WTF? This can't be because of the Leverkusen loss. Something must've happened. We're in the title race for all three major championships, just eliminated a household name from the Champions League and will play another one in no more than two weeks.

Normally would agree, but seeing how they have apparently already signed Tuchel, this must have been in the works for a while.
Guess they saw the lack of real development over the last two seasons and have little confidence in Nagelsmann turning things around.

Timing is still odd. If he lost to Dortmund and in the CL, sure. But one week before a possibly decisive match in the Bundesliga followed by a trip to Manchester?
Tuchel waited for this job, no doubt about it.

Lewy left ONLY because of Nagelsmann.
Then that stupid affair with that young Bild reporter girl.
    Then alienating Neuer.
But also, he had lost the team a while ago.
Don't think that loss in Leverkusen was just a coincidence.
Neither was the leaking of his "tactics papers".
Players have been tired of him for a while.
The only thing is, they should sack Brazzo at the same time.
This Nagelsmann aberration cost us like 100 million.
All the CL stuff and the league title were like Jogi 2014 - in spite of the coach, not because of the coach.

A lot of stuff had been kept under wraps for quite a while.

Nagelsmann was too green for this job. "Jugend forscht".

    P.S.: Also, he is a "60er".

Yes, this has been in the works for a while. Insiders knew it was going to happen, sooner or later.

Will be funny though, because Tuchel will be successful, but sooner or later, there will also be a falling out with the bosses. It's almost inevitable, lol.

Still unreal. Really thought, Nagelsmann could become our Ferguson or Wenger (reign-wise).

Like possibly win a CL he barely was involved in and then piss everyone off the very next season?

Seems they held talks with Tuchel for weeks and this is mainly about the lack of development and Tuchel otherwise going to Real or Spurs.

Still unreal. On the other hand, the last time we fired a coach during the season, we beat Dortmund the very next game 4-0 in Munich. Watch history repeat itself.

It's really amazing Conte is still employed. Would've thought they'd take advantage of the break. Dude threw the entire club under the bus, blaming everyone but himself. Even if they didn't have someone in mind or ready to go, you can't let the manager off the hook that easily...even if he was kind of right (at least about the front office and ownership).

Tuchel is interesting, don't like him but has his qualities.

I think Tuchel is a better coach than Nagelsmann at this point. Maybe Nagelsmann will be back at some point in the future. He will surely get some interesting offers (and that will get Bayern off the hook of paying him for the full remainder of his contract).

I still want Brazzo gone. Iffy on Kahn. Rummenigge was better.
