I like Austin Reaves but not at 20M lol wtf. He is basically like prime Patrick Beverly and as much I love Bev he aint worth 20M a year.

Maybe 8-10 but at that price I dunno why he'd leave LAL

Jarett Allen is like one of the few exceptions.

    Dejounte Murray
    Chandler Parsons
    Montrezl Harrell
    Caris Levert
    Davis Bertans
    Ryan Anderson

    The list goes on.

He's going for 15+ mil. Pretty sure. From what I seen to me he seems like a more efficient kpj who can draw fouls.

So it's not too outlandish to go that high.

He seems injury prone to me, I mean most white hustle dudes are like Carusso, Parsons, Deladova etc I'd def be nervous committing 15M a year to him and he starts missing games.

There's really no point signing only reaves though. Are u planning to make him the pg of the team?

Sengun, Jabari, Tari, Green, Reaves is a nice little group with a lot of toughness guys. If we had a 6th man of the year candidate like KPJ and a vet like Horford or Dwight Powell I'm not sure we can't make the playins.

    Sengun/Horford/Garuba
    Jabari/KJ
    Tari/Tate
    Green/Christopher
    Reaves/KPJ

Maybe Horford can be our CP3. Great mentor for our PF/C's and can even coach them how to run the offense. IIRC he really likes Houston as a city.

I believe next season Green will give us 28+ ppg on better efficiency than his sophomore season. I believe Sengun if handed the keys to the offense can put up 20/10/7/1.5 with passable defense. With Reaves you have someone who can catch and shoot, bring consistency on playmaking and defense. How much does Jabari develop in his sophomore season? I love the dynamic of Jabari/Tari/Reaves hounding scorers on the court, I believe you need these players junkyard dog type players to create the team/family dynamic.

It's probably not enough to make the playoffs but it's fun to think about. Realistically speaking we would be better off acquiring a legitimate defensive anchor at C in trade to pair with a Reaves signing. If we could pry Myles Turner from Indiana that would be extremely ideal, but I don't know if they want to move him now that he's on a great contract.

Defense gives you easy wins and stability, raises the floor tremendously giving you breathing room with mistakes. We have an odd core (in a good way), for players this age it's weird we have 3-4 people who are serious about defense (Jabari/Tari/Garuba/Christopher). Tate is decent too. I think our future will be as much about elite defense as it is about offense but they do need someone to be a defensive anchor at C. The kids are not going to be ready for that next season, unless of course we land Wemby then we wing it lol.

I think our kids are going to shock us next season due to the suffocating conditions of the 2022-2023 season which should go down in NBA history as one of the most brutal tanking seasons ever. I know these 3 years have been a drain, but a little more hope is a good idea.

I would take drafting Scoot Henderson and signing Reaves/Al Horford/ and trading for Mike Conley over James Harden.

    Henderson/Conley
    Green/Christopher
    Martin/Reaves
    Jabari/Eason/Garuba
    Sengun/Horford/Lively

Courtney Lee with a better handle and will bite your ear off for a loose ball? Easily worth $18m+ in this era.
