Wrong, I want them to draft Hooker at 2-33 or Bennett in the 5th or 6th. This has nothing to do race or skin color. This has to do with value and skillset. Like I've said many times, I dont like any QB in this draft.
While we still have a lot of work to do race wise, race doesn’t play as much of a factor as it used to. If it did then Bryce, CJ, and AR wouldn’t be the top 3 projected picks in this draft. AR wouldn’t be allowed to go to the NFL as a QB. The guy everyone is waiting for next year(Caleb Williams) is a black QB, race isn’t ignored, but some teams care less and less about it. Each QB in this draft has their red flags, but they’re not using race as anything other than a description of the QB.
Because of Williams injury issues last year, I've now got Williams and Maye as even money for 1-1 in the 2024 draft. Does that make me a racist? Wonder who Williams agent is going to be? If it's Watson's agent then I'm out on Williams. I hope the Texans org deals with that guy as little as possible.
Eh, I feel like Williams did more, neither guy has great supporting cast around them. Williams is more talented and polished, Maye needs work but has an incredible base and imo a higher floor than Williams, Williams ceiling is a more athletic Mahomes IMO. Both Maye and Williams would be drafted 1st overall had they been able to come out this year. Hell, Ewers would be in the mix for 1st pick if he came out this year. I don’t care about race at all, I’m a black man with a white wife and a Mexican/middle eastern best friend. I care about going to a Super Bowl parade before I kick the bucket.
Maye is a top tier athlete as well, with a bigger arm and bigger body. Williams is more polished, an elite prospect. I think Maye will be 1b to his 1a
Ewers is all projection and hype, we will see what he does. Wonder if Sark is actually going to have a real competition with Manning and him
Projection and hype get you drafted high. I wouldn’t draft Ewers at all, but being the top QB recruit and fitting the physical mold will get you drafted
Parades are what all fans should care about most. Sometimes I feel that's not some fans goal or ownership for that matter. The QB could be green for as much as I care. Only thing I care about is jewelry and I find it ironic that I've already been called a racist by a poster today, when my favorite QB in this draft happens to be black. (Hooker) it seems as though some, not you , can't disagree on a prospect without the race card being thrown out. Which is really sad.
Yall pulling the race card on a bunch of 20 year olds? I seriously doubt any of em are thinking if I was black or white... yada yada yada.. That's usually reserved for players that had their moments but still living in the past, trying to hang on. Any of yall former players?
Keep showing your bias. There isn’t a scout that agrees with you. Really isn’t anyone that would agree with you. He’s a top 10 pick at minimum
