CJ isn't underrated anymore, if anything, his rise could be a blessing for the Texans. I'm honestly not worried about Bryce Young's height, especially with how beefy the Texans are making the O-Line. He can scramble when needed to and I'd think he's smart enough to get rid of the ball quickly and avoid hits. The Texans want to setup the franchise QB for success and the Shanahan style offense (physical run game and what not) is kind of perfect for Young.

Note: I really want the Texans to add that TE Meyer (elite run blocker supposedly and can catch the ball) and another stud RB in the late first (trade)/second to make life easier on Bryce. Bully teams in the trenches and control the clock. Young is perfect for the team.

I’m not mad at you for the Mulugheta situation. At some point, you have to get pass that or you’ll miss out on really good players.

He’s absolutely underrated on this board. But looks like he’s going No.1 now so let’s get ready for Bryce.

Yup - huge on Mayer! Just the cost is the issue, however, if he is expected to reach Kittle/Kelce/Gronk levels - I'd be all for it.

We can trade down to the #16-20 range (coup up a 3rd and/or 4th as ammo to move up in the draft) and get him too! Just imagine Schultz and Mayer lined up with the O-Line we have now. Pretty sick.

EDIT: Nick Caserio has been a part of a team with two very good TE's... Gronk and Hernandez.

    I'm liking

    1. Musgrave
    2. Washington
    3. Mayer
    4. Kincaid

I'm thinking there's a good chance one of these guys falls to 2-33. But I'm thinking I would rather pick Scmitz at 2-33 and LaPorta at 3-64. If one of the top TE's falls to 40 or so, I would trade 3-64/4-103 and a 6th to get one of these guys. I would even consider trading both 3-64 and 3-73 for one of the top 4 TE's.

Washington/Tunsil/Green/Schimtz/Mason/Howard/Schultz with Pierce/Singletary/Spears would be really good stuff.

Whether you want to admit it or not, other than Tunsil, none of the QBs have really had much protection.

They took this man out to dinner, it looks like they are done playing games with us and will just take Stroud.

Stroud’s scripted workout showed off the accuracy that is his calling card. He completed 44 of 51 throws, with two dropped passes and five incompletions — all of which came on throws to his left. If the Panthers have made up their mind about who they’re taking No. 1, they’re keeping it close to the vest. But the sense here is that Stroud and Young are the frontrunners. — Person

Didn't Stroud have a cleaner pocket most of the time than the other QBs?
