Draymond's always jawing. If he really wants to teach our young kids so much why doesn't he come on over in the offseason as a free agent and do it himself instead of talking to the media about it.

The same people who say where there's smoke there's fire with regards to the Harden rumours.

I wonder if they're the same ones who say 'nope all this smoke is wrong they're just haters' when there's a literal Californian wildfire burning around this organization's absolute woefulness.

Why don't the actual coaches of the team do it?

We definitely missed Sengun today. Then again, we're not trying to win and even having Alpi we were probably going to lose. Our undisciplined defense leads to good shooting teams having a cornucopia of open shots against us, whether they make 'em is up to the opponent.

At LEAST I see growth from earlier in the season. Our guys are playing hard, getting stronger and definitely getting more comfortable with each other's games.

Now onto Ja and the Grizzlies. More shooters to contend with :p

Definitely some growth. I'm seeing a lot of little things being done better. Boxing out, passing up so-so shots and keeping the ball moving, stuff like that.

Pretty sure Stone was leading some of the practices earlier in the season.

Solid play, but our guards have to be better. Hate to see Josh, but particularly KPJ do their own thing, while Jabari is working hard to get into the middle of the paint, switched onto smaller guys, but not getting the pass. Green & KPJ's passing is just awful at times, lazy by Green who's going for something fancy it seems with the one handed swing, and we don't recognize our cutters enough.

JabaTari continue to impress, what a duo!! Martin as well.

Green I think is more excusable because that's his job, that's always going to be his job. He's not a point guard, trying to play him as one is not what we should be doing. His job is to score, and he's often being put into these situations where he has to be primary initiator of the entire offense because we basically don't have any point guards on this team. It feels like him and KPJ are both taking turns being this sort of combo guard guy running the whole show, trying to create something from nothing. There's no sense of each guy playing his role.

KPJ is supposedly our point guard, and that's where I get frustrated. He's just not seeing these opportunities to hit cutters or hit open shooters. He's just not, and we need him to be because that's the role he's supposed to be playing.

That's why, for me, whether you're adding Harden or Scoot or VanVleet or even Amen Thompson (whose skill level as a point guard is being tremendously underrated in the sound and the fury about his jumper), or anybody who is actually has the skills to see the court and make plays for others, this team instantly gets a lot better. There's a black hole where point guard play is supposed to be. Jalen is going to get better, Jabari is going to get better, Sengun is going to get better. The whole team improves if you have somebody who actually knows how to run an offense and hit the guy with the best opportunity to score.

And for KPJ, he needs to either be traded or he needs to be a sparkplug off the bench. I've never seen a more "Lou Williams" comp in my life. He will feast against second units, especially against teams that aren't very deep, but he should not be going out there running an entire NBA offense for most of the game. It will never work because that's not his skillset, and that's not a knock on him as a player; he's not a damn point guard and he never was and never will be. We can keep trying to jam that square peg into the round hole but it ain't gonna fit.

    /rant

Make the round hole bigger and at least the square would go through.

That can't be right. I've been told that the Rockets are giving away so many wide open 3s to the opponents because of the defensive scheme they play to minimize Sengun's weaknesses.

A lot of us could see the same thing as u, kpj ain't a point guard, but his stans say otherwise. To them he's a pretty good pg who just simply shouldn't b blame b/c his teammates just whiff their shots

Crappy shooting teams that dont want to defend will never win meaningful games in the NBA. KPJ tallied 14 potential assists last night, but turned it over way too much and shot like sht as well, but the plays WERE there to be made.

edit: Oh wait I forgot the mandatory derogatory comment --- "to his dick riding haters he shouldnt even be in the NBA" LOL

You should stop talking to dumb people. I know it's hard since they repeat themselves and tend to use forums where they can't be downvoted like this one, but it is possible.
