WTF is a cartilage transplant? I thought that was the whole thing about knees once you your cartilage is worn down that's it.
Googled, apparently it is a newish technique (last decade) and not many doctors do it. Seems like kind of a hail mary
Never like seeing a career cut short, but at least he secured the bag before it happened. After all of the superstar expectations died down and the smoke cleared he had turned into a pretty damn good 2 way player.
