Jonas Valanciunas TOYED with Sengun last night. How is our franchise player allowing guys like that dominate? Thanks to Jabari & our best player KPJ we won. But WHEN IS SENGUN'S DEFENSE going to be addressed?
Last night is a prime example of why Sengun needs more minutes to learn. Jonas dominated through three quarters then Sengun completely shut him down in the fourth. That's growth. That's why we gotta let him learn and make mistakes. He didn't back down from JV and was key to a comeback victory. He will get beat but as long as he is learning and adapting to the NBA he will be a star. But he was also getting screwed by the whistle yesterday.
So when Sengun has his bad moments it's "he's still young, let him grow". But let KPJ have a moment it's "he's selfish, we need him gone!!". When are the other players outside of Sengun going to get the "let him play through it" treatment. Sengun seems to never be accountable for anything
Lol. So angry But its apparent in this stretch how wrong you idiots were. We DON'T need the offense to run through Sengun to win. Secondly, Jabari is our best big and Jalen/KPJ are our best players currently. Sengun had his best stretches only when guys were injured. Now that we're healthy he's back to 3rd/4th option. Scola?
You can't be for real. Sengun is the only being held accountable. Only one who ever gets benched. Everyone else just plays all day long no matter what they do. I'm not a KPJ hater he has a role on this team. We need his scoring and defense. I just hate him as a PG. Too much dribbling and too many bad decisions. It amplifies why a lot of fans are torn by him because we force him to play a position he isn't built for. But when KPJ doesn't play and all we have is Daishen Nix it also has the opposite effect. We think he's much better than he is cuz the player who replaces him is the worst player in the entire league. Nix playing 35 minutes is guaranteed blowout loss.. Jonas only had like 12 points when Sengun was in the game yesterday... hardly dominated. One bad stretch when he wasn't getting a fair whistle. Rest of the game he did pretty damn good and better than anyone else we threw at Jonas including boban.
you are dumbest of the dumbs you are nothing to rockets , just sending dumb posts sengun is the best player of the rockets, and when he fix his defensive issues he will be top level player.. i don't want to **** on bari jalen bc i like them you can get kpj in you ass , because you need head hancho
Naturally he was outmuscled by Jonas yesterday, great fight in the 4th quarter tho, was a great lesson for him to hit the gym and bulk up this summer. I have a thing to say for his well-established haters we all know. He's 20. Feel free to check out how Lebron, Giannis, Jonas, Jokic, Sabonis looked like when they were 20.
I am more than happy that he won the mental battle with jv and the refs to have a perfect 4th quarter.
A 20 year old first year at starting center getting out played by a 10 year vet, but still contributed to a win last night. Oh noiiiii. It's one thing to b irritated like me that last night victory opens the possibility of us getting the 7th pick, it's another to btch about a player when he contributed enough that gave us the dub. @maj21 and @rocketchamp just comes of as typical sengun haters more then anything. Got the dub but oh no senguns defense. Ingram exploded for 31 pts meant someone defense on our team wasn't good enough either, but oh noooo the pelican center scored 5 more pts than sengun and still lost.
The thing is...NONE of you mention how young Jalen Green is, or Jabari before you overly criticize them lol. Its always some incoherent nonsense of them. Sengun ONLY gets the "he's just a poor little 20yr old" excuse. Why is this?
