If "playoffs" is what matters, then light skin Curry & Jayson Tatum & should sweep the awards. Embiid only played 31 games his rookie year. Nobody gets awards playing under half the season. Simmons won ROY because Sixers had 24 more wins from previous year. Which supports that "winning" matters. Thats going to pop out at voters. Even if Sixers improvement was more from healthy Embiid, still Spida's team actually had less wins than previous year. Edwards struggled REALLY bad the first half his rookie year.
