In the latest NFL news, the Houston Texans have reportedly shown a willingness to trade wide receiver Brandin Cooks. The news was first reported by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, who has a strong track record of breaking major NFL stories.
You're concerned about us taking a QB at 2 in a "weak QB class", but you also wish we would give the Jets a 6th for Wilson, or "wait on potentially Jameis being cut".... not sure those 2 statements go together. People love saying how "meh" this QB class is, but this class is going to be just like almost every other class... "it's bad because its not nearly as good as next year's class". Taking Bryce at 2 IMO is exactly what the franchise needs, everyone knows we need a QB, and we need someone the fanbase can be excited about. Will there be 100% approval, of course not, but I fully expect with Demeco, Bryce, and whoever else, the fans will be packed into NRG for opening weekend.
Except if you really believe next years QB class is better. Otherwise welcome to midget p*rn down on Kirby starring Cal/Hannah McNair and the leading man Bryce.
Are any of the centers in the draft worth 1.12? Really concerned about that position. Maybe they have a trade in the works since FA is pretty much dried up.
I dont hate him, nor do I think he will be a terrible QB. I just dont think at his size he will ever be much more than avg. No QB his size has ever been even avg in the modern era of football, so this is actually a compliment to Young. This isn't even taking into account the obvious injury concerns.
I think Schmitz is worth 1-12, even though most have him going in the 30's. A decade long starter at a very valuable underrated position is worth 1-12. IMHO I wish they would have drafted Linderbaum in last years draft. Would you say he was worth 1-12? I think he was.
Trade is the only option now with the Ben Jones physical thing. It's difficult for a rookie Center to run the Kubes offense. Definitely needed that vet. Wish Bradbury had an injury history so that Nick would have made a serious offer. But... centers from Florida, Baylor or Ohio St could make the transition quickly.
Every time I see midget in a post i don't even have to look at the avatar to know who it is. The hate for Bryce is strong by raining threes. His prerogative, but the midget stuff is getting a bit old at this point.
I’m sure odds could change when the draft come around. But seeing Bryce at 3 in pecking order to be the #1 pick is still very interesting..
Bryce Young going to fall in the Texans lap because a team is worried about sizing concerns despite the guy not having issues with it in the SEC. Surprised.
Although I thought/hoped he would make it to 2-1 and he didn't to me it's Stingley over Sauce and Green over Tyler Smith!
