I actually like what’s happened so far with Bari. It’s like what if what Pujols did to Brad Lidge happened his rookie season?? Would Lidge have actually have been a better pitcher?? Maybe he would have worked a bit more on that change up knowing he couldn’t just smoke every batter with the fastball and the slider?

Jabari getting rocked the first half of his rookie season might be the best thing for him… if he’s got the right kind of mentality and entourage around him to teach him what he is good at and what he needs to do better.

I believe that they consistently do not include Malone's ABA scoring in his career total, so I think this is correct, it's an "NBA record".

Obviously Malone's rookie season was ridiculous, thought it is interesting to see that for averaging 18.8/14.6 the whole year, he technically he only accomplished the 3 game streak of 20-10s once in that season (doing it 4 games in a row). He had two other streaks that apparently only had partial stats recorded in the third, so there's no way of verifying if he got 10 rebounds, and one ridiculous streak of games where he went 37/14, 29/14, 30/9, 31/19, 18/11, 20/15, missing the benchmark twice by a single rebound and a single basket.

But as we have all learned from Westbrook's 2017 MVP, round numbers are infinitely more impactful than on-the-court stuff.

Damn the gaslighting was right on cue. **** talking a teenager who had a slow start in the NBA on a tanking team isn't "hating" but meanwhile they had "good reasons to hate." Can't make this stuff up. Imagine not being able to enjoy the night because you can't talk **** about our promising rookie. Pathetic.

Yeah he only had one such streak but you noticed - looks like the ABA didn't keep the box score of rebounds in some of those games? So who knows, could've been more.

Also, lol Moses was drafted in.. round 3?

Lidge also had to be traded and go through a near career ending funk to shake off the shalaking that Pujols did to his psyche.

Keep in mind that a year ago Tillman would have said “pray for Jabari” if caught with a buzz at Mardi Gras.

Making Jabari a Great Prospect Again should be the best outcome of all of the possible outcomes to come out of this trash heap of a season.

Honestly if we got Wemby the defensive and outside shooting potential from him plus Jabari as a frontcourt would be completely insane. Possibly unprecedented in NBA history.

I can't wait to draft another 19 year old kid and listen to the same group of knuckleheads say the same things for the first 60 games of the season, only to come out looking stupid for a third year in a row.

Yeah our team is mind boggling. He was 5/5 on threes and hitting turnarounds. And we never ran a single play for him or got him the ball.

Same with Garuba. Dude hits two threes and immediately gets subbed out.
