Jabari Smith Jr. is the Rockets' franchise player. Give me a second to post my own deranged twitter as reference 450,000 times.
If Jabari keeps playing like this, hitting shots and disrupting opponents on D, he will have his position locked up for years to come. Happy for him finding success after seemingly half the board was prematurely calling him a bust
We can have multiple franchise players. Green the self creating go to scorer who hopefully by year 3-5 improved playmaking who in his prime can defend fast elite guards because he learns to utilize his athleticism on defense more. Jabari maybe is a hybrid of Aldridge and Klay Thompson on offense and elite switchable defenders. Sengun who when this team is ready to compete, can space the floor along with what he's great at which is paint self creation scoring and passing. Then the 4th guy is unknown depending on who we draft this year and also wildcards like Tari surprising everyone. Right now Tari is looking like a good 3 and D wing on a contending caliber team.
When Jabari hits open shots, he doesn't look like a bust & the team wins games, who woulda thunk it? Jabari shoots 20% for two months and looks like a bust while the team loses 10 of 11 games .... who woulda thunk it? Silas should be fired!!! for screwing up the tank.
