Fraser deserves the award for his performance, don't really care about the rest of it.

At what point did people outside of the LGBT community start caring about the Academy Awards? Award ceremonies aren't entertainment. /endrant

People seem to feel validated when a predetermined group of 'experts' like the same thing they like as much as they do.

It's the same for awards in movies or music or sports or video games or whatever else.

People also seem to enjoy complaining when they 'get it wrong'.

Some of the speeches were pretty heart warming.

Ke Huy Quan, Brendan Fraser and Michelle Yeoh: this was definitely a come back year for all.

Hope they all continue to have success moving forward

This oscar was definitely catering to the younger crowd which is a good thing. I'm all for fresh and inventive ideas in Hollywood and I hope A24 continues to dominate. I think the next step is to get a horror movie into the oscar game and I'll bet A24 can pull it off.

This went exactly the way I wanted it to go. Nice work, team, I'll see you all at brunch for kale and avocado gluten-free toast.

I have to admit I didn't watch any of the oscars live and the only nominated Best Picture I saw was Everything Everywhere All at Once. Glad to see that movie clean up and hearing some of the speeches this morning very well deserved.

I was very happy Everything Everywhere All at Once cleaned up mainly because it's the type of film that the Academy would have ignored years ago. Its different and really goes against the grain and populated with excellent performances especially from Yeoh.....
