It's really weird how the Silas offense only looks good when it has a top 3 basketball player in the world playing in it.

It's almost like Luka would be good regardless of the system he was in, and that his coaches thus far have been riding a wave of coattails and nepotism.

He's getting the **** end of the stick with the refs. Is he too fast for them to see the blatant contact he gets especially the past two games against the Pacers and this game.

    Agreed.
I think it would work well with a traditional pass-first point guard too, as long as he's an adequate shooter.

Look at all the concessions Silas was doing to make KPJ look good:

He benched Sengun for a lob threat
Said he didn't want Jalen handling the ball
refused to stagger Jalen and KPJ minutes
puts Bari in the corner, put Jalen in the corner his rookie year

this is all in service of the lead guard. Silas was forced to run through Sengun only after KPJ went out with an injury. Silas offense is all about the lead guard, he made the Luka offense. He came here so Harden could run that same offense.

Bruh? You better be like 17 years old talking like that. Saying Sengun has 2 left feet really hurt your feelings, huh? Damn, I would hate to be that soft.

KPJ is Stone's project. I doubt Silas has much say in that at all.

And much like when the Rockets had Westbrook, when a coach has a deficient player foisted upon them all they can do is try to find the best way to maximize whatever he does bring to the table.

Silas' offense is built on ball movement and cuts. Don't expect to see much of that with KPJ as your primary ball handler.

That’s why they can’t close games. They go away from what works which is the pnr with Sengun and Green and Sengun and Jabari with some post ups with Jabari sprinkled in. Instead it becomes an iso game which leads to more turnovers while Silas just stands there with his arms folded. No way that Tate and KPJ should be taking the most shots, especially down the stretch.

Let's put it his way. No other player in his class gets the attention he does from opposing defenses.

And he has limited shooting around him. There’s always a big in the paint waiting

Yup. Green would thrive in a 5 out offense. He feasts with clear driving lanes. Just too quick especially for his length for one guy in front of him to stop him. Always a help big and or long wing camping in Green's driving lanes.

He gets but hurt when he get ignored on offense, when he been doing that sht to smith all season long.

Im quite sure he isn't able to stomach a demotion out of the starting pg position.
