Rocket fans looking at Stone and Silas for having KPJ and Tate on this team playing the minutes they do taking the shots they do
Silas' offense is a thing of beauty when executed properly but, as young teams are prone to do, the Rockets tend to get ahead of themselves when things are going well and drift away from what was working. I couldn't agree more that a better lead guard would make world of difference.
It's crazy that he had the highest assist/TO ratio as usual, without his right foot. You're living proof that you can't fix stupid, lmao.
LOL No serously I havent watched a Rockets game in weeks. I dont plan on watching another until next year. Im praying that Silas is gone by then or that he is just pretending to be a bad coach to tank and he wont have to by next year. Anyway I wont be posting in another game thread til then.
Not really one person to blame this loss on Jalen was too passive KPJ failed his heroball Alpi was sloppy Jabari couldn’t get the ball Christopher missed some big shots Tate missed layups Tari fouled too much But these are all easily fixable things that shouldn’t tank away from the fact that the Rockets looked pretty good for three quarters. Now if we had a halfway decent coach, maybe the game would’ve gone differently, but perhaps instead there will be some teachable moments in film the next day.
I wouldn't use "Beauty" when talking about a Silas offense. it's brute force. If the lead guard is ass, the whole offense is going to be ass. Luka or Harden can make this offense look competent, but not beautiful.
Wtf does that have to do with him stumbling all game? Y’all are sensitive to the point where it becomes personal and y’all starting calling me names haha
It needs specific types of players to run. It needs Veterans that are unselfish and it needs a lead combo guard like Harden or Luka. Since we have neither of those it looks like pure garbage.
I agree that a crappy lead guard is going to make for a crappy offense. I disagree that Silas' offense is predicated on a single player. And beauty, of course, is in the eye of the beholder.
