Draft Bryce let him sit for a year
He’s ready day 1 but sitting him for the year gives the Texans a chance to keep building up the roster
So when Bryce does take over he’s setup really well to succeed

If they go that route, they need to be damn sure that they can trade up higher into the 1st to draft a QB. You don’t want to be left holding a hand of Garropolo only

We don’t take Richardson so I’m good with it.

Not a fan of Gabustolo but if that's what it takes to bring that monster of an athlete Richardson to Houston then I'm okay.

Be willing to bet you are in a distinct minority.

Not just the Texans. If Bryce Young has a serious enough injury, it’ll be the leading story on every sports media outlet.

AR and Levis have a much longer injury history than Bryce.

You didn’t answer the question. Other than in your mind, have you seen where a single GM or coach has expressed concern or had questions about Young’s health?

You're probably right, but we have seen candidates inexplicably slide down boards only to learn they had a hitherto unknown injury/condition.

He's running from the competition and would've been a lock to be 1-1 despite his size? But now that he didn't throw he could fall all the way to 1-2... what's the motivation to throw? There's not a single agent or PR group that would've advised their highly rated QB to throw at the combine in his situation. And the speculation that he was hurt or afraid of competition, is completely made up and not substantiated by any facts whatsoever.

The facts are the same for the rest of the QB's and they chose to compete. How many millions does he lose Falling from 1-1 to 1-2?

I think he didn't want to throw because his arm strength would have come in 4th out of the 4 QB's and given his size that he could have fallen further than 1-2. Still might.

He's not going to weigh in at his pro day because more than likely he'll be 183 or less by then

We all know this, and he didn't want to compete because his athleticism would have been hurt by carrying around the extra 20 lbs.

He's gaming the system. It's actually kinda smart of him.

If he falls, it won’t be because he didn’t throw at the combine. Some of you get carried away with the combine. They have said repeatedly that the combine accounts for maybe 10% of the evaluation if that. Richardson and Levis declined to play with their teams for the final game. That shows as much lack of competitiveness and team leadership as anything.
