I've had my mind made up from a fan perspective long ago and reaching for a QB out of need during a year where the position is not its strongest would be a mistake I've already said Will Anderson (previously Jalen Carter) should be the pick. Shoot Im super intrigued by Calijah Kancy after the combine too. I was in on Stroud early in his college days. Same with Richardson. I've given Young his props as a great college QB too. Im a fan of the game and its evolutions. If I told you that you could run Richardson just like Hurts, Allen, Jackson and give yourself a shot to go farther in the playoffs than you've ever gone before would that not be enticing? You would need to go shop for another QB after 5 years or so, but there is not much a defense can do for that type of QB within the concepts of pop passing and the RPO. You dont need the kind of read and recognition that Young has when you are bigger, faster, stronger and the defense has no clue if you're running or quick passing. Young cant do any of that with his feet that would be a death sentence.
People use arguments like this as if there's been thousands of short QB's who couldn't do it. Bryce is competing against like 20 guys that short who've played QB. The others didn't fail cause they got hurt, they failed cause they sucked. The fact that some people say they don't want Bryce because "he's too small and he'll get hurt", but want Levis who runs like a battering ram, and don't think he'll get hurt, just proves the bias. I'd much rather a small guy who knows how to get down, and avoid hits (Brees/Wilson) over an extreme athletic guy who doesn't (Vince Young, Will Levis, even RG3).

I'm sure there are plenty of sites that don't have him at #1. Those guys opinions mean about as much as yours and mine do. I mean how many times are those guys right about anything.
You asked who had him as the top QB and I gave you several. You may find some outliers but the vast majority have him as the top QB.
I think you know what I think about the PFF grades. Bottom line is he refused to compete against his competition.
Yep, I'm not a fan of PFF. No narrative here, are you saying Young is in the same position right now as the undispute #1 pick like Burrow/Murray were? If so, we've got to agree to disagree.
