I was at the game. Even when KPJ was benched Jalen wouldn’t step up when the rotation is Nix, Christopher, Green, Tari, Boban at the end of the third quarter there is no excuse that Jalen kept passing it around instead of
or jalen green...jalen is very very talented...its just that rockets are terrible job of developing this guy
I like how quietly Tari picks up his points without dominating the ball. Just hustling, getting out there in transition, hitting open threes, cutting to the basket. I see a really good roleplayer career in his future, any team could find room for what he does on their roster.
Most fun game of the season! Everyone got after it, love me some Tari. Garuba with the 3/3 from 3, Nix and Josh with some sauce and attitude. Love these kids!! And the reason why it was as fun as it was is because everyone joined the party, KPJ & Green were struggling / not healthy so they were forced to give it up more. The one-man show is ugly so glad we got to see this. It's the reason I don't care for Harden to return, rather go after Bridges and trade Green. Tari deserves to start over Jabari and hope whoever is coaching next year won't you automatically give it to Jabari. I'm down on Green though, that one possession where he lost the ball and just barely got back when others had to pick up his slack has been happening more often than not. Pick it up young fella! I'm really hesitant to get that Green jersey, was thinking Jabari, but man Tari keeps balling out and I love those type of guys so #17 is probably what I'm going to go with. Also a nod to Mario & PJ.
We didn't run enough through Nix and Boban. We need to just have them pretend they're '07 Nash and Amar'e.
Outside of KJ, Tari played the second most minutes (more than the other starters) and team won. Bonus
From the body language it's night and day between Silas and Pop. Composure, non fidgety gestures. You can't really teach winning championships. You either have it or not.
Was at the game last night and boy oh boy KPJ. It was early in the game and KPJ launched back to back threes on the same possession, Sengun draws the double down low and kicks it to KPJ at the top of the key who is open to shoot, instead passes it and someone goes to the free throw line. As Sengun is walking to the rebounding spot he signals to KPJ to shoot it. KPJ proceeded to yell at Sengun the entirety of the two free throws. Sengun has some amazing monk-level restraint to not put KPJ on his ass. The guy is such a f*cking loser.
