More times than not when thrown into bad situations .. But again , I'm sure you think everybody can be the next big QB because, hey it's happened before.. You never know right?

CJ Stroud was smooth today. He seems to fit the Texans culture.

I think Fields is a great QB just waiting to happen. We've seen this scenario play out a few times here. David Carr and Deshaun Watson were/are 2 great QBs held back by bad OL play. Get Fields or now Richardson/Stroud. We have a jump on Chicago with our okay OL. Just plug up the holes with the draft or FA and we're good. More so in FA.
    I'm talking Tom Brady-like protection.

No the hell he does not.

Keep his crew and their culture away from the Texans at all cost.
Mulugheta, Avery and the whole idiot crew surrounding them can stay gone. The fact that CJ said Watson and Vick were his idols tells you the kid is tone deaf and an idiot.

You trippin Moak... Nothing wrong with saying those 2 were who he loved watching play.. Vick is who I loved the most as well .. Most people's idols are idolized for their performances.. You can separate that from their lifestyles.. Im sure if you peel the curtain back on most idols, it wont be pretty ..Hell my favorite artist still and always will be that POS RKelly.. As far as the crew stuff, that's on the management for allowing them people to be negative influences at the workplace.. But I say all that to say, I don't want Stroud either lol

Fields is a great tailback that plays QB.

He struggles to read defenses and has accuracy issues as a QB.

    Caserio: Who are your idols?

    Stroud:

    Rae Carruth

    O.J.

You know how you get around having to deal with his crew? Dont draft him.

By "Brady-like protection" do you mean teaching him to get the ball out in under 2 seconds on 75% of his dropbacks?

AR tested better than I even thought he would, doubt he runs a 6.83 3 cone though. He’s explosive, that doesn’t mean Gabbert wasn’t explosive.
AR vertical was ridiculously impressive, he doesn’t look like a low 4.4 guy on tape. I was thinking low 4.5 maybe high 4.4s.

It bizarre that you even questioned whether Blaine ****ing gabbert was in the same neighborhood as AR. I don’t care what gabberts combine numbers said. Just watch the tape and you can see the difference in athleticism.

Also, AR was running away from safeties in the SEC that will actually get drafted, not Big 12 jamokes running 4.7 40s that now work at State Farm.

Anyway, I said I would put a pin in that.

I'll be honest.. I only watched tape on Young and Stroud. Should we be considering AR at #2?

Your hate for Gabbert is weird, there is no denying his athleticism, yet you do. It’s weird.

AR didn’t look more athletic than Hurts on tape, he tested significantly better than him. Gabbert was very similar to Hurts testing and is 3 inches bigger.
You can put a pin in whatever you want, AR is still far more athlete than he is QB. We will see if he develops

If your goal is to attempt to build a stacked roster for about 3 years, then play him.. Which doesnt sound so bad in hindsight
