    The only variable is time regardless. That's the only difference in the way they act. I don't claim to be an expert but insulin has one function, bringing down blood sugar. That's according to the CDC

    The differences are peak time and duration. Lifestyles are a plenty. When the doctor looks at the insulin for your lifestyle, it's only time as far as the insulin is concerned
